The Connaught New Delhi- IHCL SeleQtions

Thank you to the front desk and security (robin, annil, sunny and the two front securities ’ the one with the mustache and the nice lady ’ sorry i can’t remember the names)I stayed her at two different occassions (1 night and 2 nights).The good: the staff are fantastic. I got to interact and get lots of help by robin and annil with great recommendations and great service. Exceptionally great people. I praise the hospitality at the hotelThe okay: i felt like the breakfast wasn’t too extensive / impressive. I was very underwhelmed by the breakfast. It was okay but it wasnt amazing. I expected more especially from such a high end hotel and how amazing indian cuisine is. I felt like the flavors were not comparable to flavors i’ve tried around delhi / india and it being the same food. Maybe it’s personal preference but that’s my experiencePart 2: i felt like the room were extremely micro as it only fits the kind size bed and that’s it. The layouts of the room isn’t as functional as other micro rooms i’ve stayed at. I also really did not like the shower, there was no door and whenever i showered the entire bathroom floor gets wet. I understand it’s a wet floor but practicality is very limitLastly, i was hoping i’d more interaction with the staff. My first stayed i rlly reached out and talked to robin and annil. Second time they weren’t on my shift much but it made it rlly hard to naturally interact with people. Mainly a hi or bye but i really enjoyed it when i was able to talk to front desk and naturally converse. Maybe it’s the layout or maybe it’s timing but i felt like there was more of an obstacle to interact with the staff the second time

This is hands down, the best hotel service I've ever experienced. I travel a lot across the APAC region for work and from the moment I was greeted at the entrance to the daily engagements with service and security staff, to the little touches like welcome treats, the Connaught felt like a home away from home. My room was spotless each day, and the gentleman servicing my room always checked in when he saw me in the hall to make sure everything was okay asking if I needed laundry or extra room items. The reception staff were wonderful, accepting Blinkit deliveries for me every other day. The restaurant staff were also wonderful ensuring my coffee cup was always filled and anything I needed to eat was provided promptly. I had a lot of room service too and everything was delicious, and promptly delivered by a friendly staff member. My experience at the Connaught made my first visit to India so much more wonderful. Highly recommend a stay here if you're visiting Delhi!

The hotel is location is central and easy to reach the main touristic attractions by walking or a short ride. Breakfast includes western and indian dishes with fruits and vegetabes that I missed so much. Big rooms, lovely view from the window, everything is clean and the hotel team is kind and most helpful. Most recommended.

Great place to stay, felt the Tajness as always.The F&B team Sandeep Mani, Priyanka and Chef Mahesh took great care ensuring the overall breakfast experience exceeded expectations.Overall a great place, located in the heart of the city, walkable from key locations in Delhi.

Good hotel at a decent location; but the rooms feel cramped with limited space for luggage. If you have 2 trolley bags, you will wonder where to put them in the room. I don't remember seeing an iron stand and steam iron box in the rooms.Food and service in resturants are good. People in the reception can do a better job as they don't smile and act as if they are doing a favor when they do their job at desk. They should learn from the staff in their restaurants.
