’Operational Collapse and Brand Dilution at Marriott Whitefield’We attended the Sunday brunch at Marriott Whitefield (charged at ’2999+ taxes per person ), and the experience was a profound disappointment’easily ranking as one of the most poorly managed dining services I have encountered globally.’As someone who values brand standards and efficiency, I found the following lapses particularly egregious:’Failure of Product Availability:Despite confirming via phone and receiving a WhatsApp menu stating service continued until 5:00 PM, several primary Indian Specialities / main courses were depleted by 4:15 PM with no effort made to replenish them. This was the case 45 minutes before end time.’Operational Laziness:While 10 to 15 staff members including kitchen staff were present, there was a palpable air of lethargy. Despite being in uniform, staff appeared disengaged from guest needs, choosing to "lounge around chatting" rather than manage the buffet floor or attend to diners. They didn't seem to have the interest or enthusiasm or the knowledge to answer even basic questions.’Unprofessional Leadership:The atmosphere was further compromised by the manager, who spent the majority of the time that we were seated at the main buffet area, loudly reprimanding staff and shouting instructions for a subsequent event while guests were still dining. This lack of decorum compromised the environment and displayed a total lack of situational awareness.’Performative Service:When I raised these concerns, the management offered surface-level apologies but took no timely actionable steps to rectify the experience or provide the food items that were missing.’This level of service is a significant departure from the Marriott International brand promise. Charging premium rates for a service where the staff has mentally "checked out" 45 minutes before closing of a buffet is unacceptable. I expect far better from a Marriott property.

It's nice hotel in a location closer to many of the IT offices in Whitefield. Not much to see or experience nearby though. Typical business class hotel with clean rooms, good hygiene and nice food. Service is good, but not excellent. I stayed in 3rd floor without much views. Higher floors may have better views of the city. Room had an excellent TV but not many channels to watch. Though a smart TV, but no access to OTT platforms, even if you have an OTT account. That was a let down. The breakfast spread was good. Dinner buffet had good variety even for vegetarians.

Great place to stay in Bangalore! Really nice staff - they were making their best to guarantee us a great stay. Food was really good and our rooms were upgraded. Also we've received small gifts at the end of our stay. We've an excellent experience!

I had the chance to dine at every restaurant and try all the amenities, and each experience was fantastic. It’s clear how much care and pride goes into every detail. Great place! Had our Company Kick Off today and had a great experience in terms of regustration,seating arrangements, and even food, the chef actually got me the Jain food prepared on the go. It was super yummy! Courteous staff and amazingly maintained washrooms. Overall an amazing experience. Thanks to my organization for choosing this amazing place for the event!
