Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Whitefield

I spent 15 days at this hotel and it was perfect. The staff were wonderful, especially Chaya and Anusha, who made sure I was comfortable. Breakfast offered a great variety of tasty dishes. The coffee was excellent. The room was roomy and cozy. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro and several breweries, close to the business parks in Whitefields. My only suggestion is to expand the gym and add more equipment.

Great place to stay when in Whitefield.What I loved : The cab service from hotel to office worked seamlessly. Thanks to Bikas.The room service was excellent, Thanks to Rakibul , I wish him great success in the coming years.The breakfast was made extra special , thanks to the staff and specially Ching.What was a bit off : The false fir alarm got us up in the middle of the night. The staff was very courteous to support and calm the people.The fumigation smell that I had on day 1 but was okay for rest of the days.

A wonderful place to stay while in Whitefield. What I appreciated: The hotel cab service to the office was smooth and efficient, thanks to Bikas. Room service was top-notch, thanks to Rakibul; I wish him all the best in the future. Breakfast was made extra special by the staff, especially Ching. What was less ideal: A false fire alarm woke us up in the middle of the night, but the staff handled it with great courtesy, helping and calming everyone. There was a fumigation smell on the first day, but it was fine for the rest of the stay.

I rarely post negative reviews publicly, but this experience genuinely left me shaken.I stayed at Fairfield by Marriott Whitefield because it was one of the closest hotels to my office in Bagmane. From the moment I entered, the property felt poorly maintained for what is positioned as a 4-star hotel ’ stale-smelling rooms, worn-out bathrooms, old carpets, and common areas that smelled strongly of alcohol and sweat.I overlooked all of it because I was barely spending time at the hotel and just needed a place to sleep after long workdays.But on my third night, around 2 AM, a man repeatedly rang my doorbell, banged on my door, and screamed outside my room. He appeared heavily intoxicated.As a woman staying alone, this was terrifying.What shocked me most was the complete lack of visible security intervention during the incident. I could not sleep the entire night afterward because I genuinely did not feel safe.The next morning, I escalated the matter to the hotel team. Gautam at the reception did respond and later confirmed that the guest involved was heavily intoxicated. While the hotel apologized, no meaningful action or accountability was communicated, despite the seriousness of the situation.An apology does not undo the fear of feeling unsafe alone in a hotel room at 2 AM.I eventually cancelled the rest of my stay and checked out early.I’m sharing this because safety is the absolute minimum expectation from a hotel ’ especially for women traveling alone ’ and this experience failed badly on that front.Would strongly urge solo women travelers to exercise caution while booking here.
