Solo Traveller • India • Oct 2026I and my son were looking to relax somewhere for a night, between bookings made elsewhere. This hotel has a good rating on Agoda with more than 500 reviews, so we reserved it for a night.The hotel is in a small narrow gali barely enough to let the cab through. The lobby was a small bare area, with no decor of any kind. 2 people were manning the reception. With the check-in done, we were ushered into a small room, barely enough for a single person to move between the bed and the chair. This was the deluxe room.It was hot outside, so we expected a chilled room with full-blast AC. But the AC was hardly working. After 1 hour we requested for room change. The new room had proper AC but with a new problem. The bathroom was stinking with smell from a drain. On calling the manager, he acknowledged that this is a known problem on this side of the hotel because of the drain. We were too tired to change rooms again, so we accepted our fate.Breakfast was ok and the serving boy Aftab was very polite and helpful.Overall, the Rs. 2900 we paid for a small unknown hotel was totally unjustified, considering the services we got.
