Avoid this hotel at all costs. Our experience was terrible: the electricity was faulty, not just typical outages but actual property problems. The shower barely worked during our 4-day stay, so we couldn't properly shower. The room was full of cockroaches, and we had to switch rooms twice because things kept breaking. The WiFi was down, and the staff was extremely unhelpful. None spoke English, making communication impossible. A man named Jason, who claimed to be the manager, lied throughout our stay, making excuses and twisting our conversations when we raised concerns. Although the hotel claims a strict no-smoking policy, the rooms reeked of smoke and staff basically admitted smoking indoors was tolerated. There was supposed to be a 24-hour front desk, but whenever we needed help, we had to search for staff, who were often just relaxing on the terrace. When we reported shower issues, they promised someone would come, but we found them still lounging half an hour later. The front door was always open with no staff at the desk, so anyone could enter. Some guests left luggage with staff before departure, but it was left unattended. We asked for a refund, but the actual manager disappeared for a week and never showed up. This place is a total scam. I'm now seeking a refund through my bank and have contacted booking sites and Indian consumer protection about the poor, unsafe, and chaotic management.

A place that feels like more than a hotelFort Manor is simple, clean, and perfectly located for exploring Fort Kochi. But what truly makes this place special is not the room or the location ... it is the people.From the moment I arrived, the staff were genuinely present, attentive, and always ready to help. They don’t just tell you where to go; they actually take the time to give you thoughtful advice on what to see, how to explore Fort Kochi, and how to experience the place smoothly and authentically.And then there is Raymond — the real dynamo of Fort Manor. He went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect from a hotel staff member. I faced a problem during my stay, and Raymond personally stepped in and helped me resolve it. Honestly, I don’t think the situation would have been solved without him.What touched me most is that, after many years and many travels, this was one of the rare places where I felt treated as a human being, not simply as a tourist who checks in, pays, and leaves.There is a genuine sense of care here. They make you feel that you are not just another guest passing through, but someone they truly want to look after.That is how a hotel becomes a place you remember.Thank you to the entire Fort Manor team — and especially Raymond for the kindness, care, and human warmth. You have created something much more valuable than a hotel stay: you make people feel like family.
