Our stay at this property was an extremely unpleasant experience that spoiled our vacation. We booked three rooms (two upstairs and one downstairs) and were travelling with **five children**. Unfortunately, the property failed to provide even the basic standards of safety, cleanliness, accessibility and customer service that any guest should reasonably expect.I strongly recommend that anyone considering this property, especially families travelling with children, carefully read the following before making a booking.**1. No electricity backup – 45 minutes in complete darkness**During our stay, the electricity went off for approximately 45 minutes. The property had no backup power and did not even have a candle available to provide basic lighting. With five children frightened in an unfamiliar property, this was a distressing experience.When we tried to contact the caretaker using his mobile number, his phone was switched off. I eventually had to walk downstairs along the steep hillside access to find him. When I asked about the power failure, he responded rudely and did not provide a helpful answer or assistance.**2. Serious security concerns – rooms cannot be locked individually**This was one of the most concerning aspects of our stay. We booked three rooms, but the two upstairs rooms shared a single locking arrangement. The individual rooms did not have proper locks that allowed them to be secured independently.Consequently, if someone staying in one room wanted to go outside, there was no proper way to lock that individual room while leaving the other room occupied. This is unacceptable when guests need basic privacy and security for themselves and their belongings.**3. Extremely poor and uncooperative caretaker service**The caretaker was unhelpful and rude when we needed assistance. Communication was also difficult, as he could not communicate with us in English, Hindi or Malayalam. During an electricity failure, with five children staying at the property, we expected basic assistance and reassurance. Instead, we were left to deal with the situation ourselves.**4. Dinner service was handled in an unacceptable manner**When we requested dinner, the caretaker left the food and plates in a downstairs room and simply walked away. Despite our repeated requests, he ignored us rather than helping us resolve the situation.We were staying with five children, and the property is located on a steep hillside with difficult access between levels. The complete lack of assistance made an already uncomfortable stay even more difficult.**5. Dangerous and poorly maintained access road**There is no proper paved road leading to the property. Access involves an unpaved, rocky and steep path on a hillside. This is something travellers should know before booking, particularly those travelling with children, elderly family members or heavy luggage.**6. Questionable condition of the vehicle used to transport guests**The property uses an old Jeep to transport guests up to the hillside location. The interior had visibly rusted and exposed metal parts, which raised concerns about passenger safety and the risk of cuts or injuries.The vehicle appeared poorly maintained and unsuitable for transporting guests in its observed condition. I would strongly advise prospective guests to clarify the transport arrangements and vehicle condition before booking.**7. No proper luggage assistance – guests must carry everything themselves**The Jeep dropped our luggage below the building level. We then had to carry all our bags ourselves up a long flight of narrow steps to reach our rooms, effectively several storeys above the drop-off point.There was nobody available to help us with our luggage. When we raised this issue with the caretaker, he simply ignored our concern. This is particularly unreasonable for families carrying luggage for several people, especially when the property is advertised or booked without a clear understa

Locations was good but the service was poor from the caretaker, rooms where big but not neat / clear. Food was expensive for the quality. Overall it is ok for bachelors not for family.
