As someone who has repeatedly chosen Mumbai House whenever I travel to Mumbai, this stay was disappointing.The staff, particularly at reception, needs to be more attentive and courteous. Often, it feels like they hear your request without actually understanding or addressing it. Communication can be vague, with unclear or contradictory responses, and the overall approach feels unnecessarily rigid.I completely understand hotel policies, including ID requirements for visitors. The issue is not the policy, but the way it is communicated and handled. Hospitality should still involve some courtesy and willingness to assist.The rooms also need maintenance. The AC controller wasn’t working in one room, while the shower had issues in another, leaving me to choose between two basic inconveniences.For a repeat guest, expecting functional rooms, clear communication and courteous service is not asking for much. Hopefully, the management takes this feedback constructively.
