We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Namaste Hindustan, Delhi as two ladies travelling solo. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the support provided by the housekeeping staff whenever we needed assistance with luggage, transport or local travel.The location is very convenient, right across New Delhi Railway Station from Paharganj side, making it easy to explore Delhi. As two women travelling on our own, we felt comfortable and well looked after during our stay.Thank you to the entire team at Hotel Namaste Hindustan especially Paaji, for the excellent hospitality. We would definitely recommend this hotel to other solo women travellers and would be happy to stay here again!

They told me that Panharganj was a noisy and chaotic area. They were not wrong!This hotel is quite modern and nice. But it's hidden in a little alley way that you will struggle to find the first time. If you are not used to Delhi street life it will be exhilarating. Or confronting.My room had no windows, and while that sounds bad, at this time of year a window is only a weak point in the thermal isolation from the outside. But I don't think my room lived up to the description posed on the website.If you're up for adventure and you get this hotel for a decent price, it's okay.I probably chose it because it was near a Metro station on the airport line. But in fact it's a difficult walk from New Delhi metro. Knowing what I know now, I would choose a hotel in any central location that's within a few km of a Metro station and get an autorickshaw to/from.
