Hotel Ranjits Lakeview

We were visiting Bhopal and decided to dine here because of its location. No doubt it has got the perfect spot. Placed the order, mutton galouti kebab which was made with just regular seekh kebab mixture. They dont know the difference between shami, seekh and gelouti. Ordered chicken biryani, not real long grain basmati but med size thich rice simply tossed in chicken curry with ton of oil on the plate. Servers were not professional too as one of them were chewing some sort of pan masala while serving. Reported this to their Manager while leaving. They had an elaborate lengthy menu but not sure if their culinary team are skilled enough to execute such a menu in an authentic manner. If not then please don't serve something else in name of biryani and gelouti kebab.

Went here for dinner with family. The food was commendable, particularly the veg Manchurian, fried rice and kadhai paneer, which were flavourful and well prepared. The live music during dinner added a pleasant charm and enhanced the ambience.That said, the service was noticeably slow, which took away from an otherwise nice experience.

This longstanding restaurant has really disappointed us. The food has been downgraded a lot. They served us kofta balls in the name of cheese balls and cheese sticks. And their iconic fish fingers were all batter and no fish.The only thing that was still the same was it's butter chicken.However it was still not worth it as we paid more than 10K.I don't recommend this restaurant anymore.

Today’s food was absolutely unacceptable. We have been regular customers for a long time and always trusted this place, but today’s experience was shockingly bad.The chilli mushroom and chilli chicken were both horrible in taste and quality. It felt as if everything was cooked in the same old, reused oil. Even the dal fry had a strong, unpleasant smell of stale oil, which is completely unacceptable for any decent restaurant.This visit clearly showed that the food quality is continuously declining. We used to come here with full confidence, but today’s experience was extremely disappointing and upsetting.The chef should be strictly warned and clearly instructed not to serve such food to any customer. Your staff can confirm how long we have been loyal customers here.If immediate corrective action is not taken, experiences like this will drive away even your regular patrons.

The hotel posting shown on the internet is different from actual rooms here. They have old rooms, with dirty bedsheets, and full of dust. However, they are showing new rooms which they have some, but giving people old room for the same price. We booked two rooms and one of the them is highly cheap OYO category room. Anyways overall, I do not recommend this place. As an NRI there is better places in Bhopal to live in.
