Wonderful property featuring stunning, upscale rooms! It's a tranquil retreat in the midst of the bustling city, just a brief walk from many of Jaipur's key attractions. The staff were outstanding—always accessible, friendly, and very accommodating; for instance, they helped me send some items back to the UK. The meals at Saba Haveli were among the finest I enjoyed during my entire trip in India, from freshly prepared breakfasts to rooftop dinners made to order. I highly recommend it!

This has to be one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed in. It is a 300 year old building known as a haveli that was then embellished by Samuel Swinton Jacob in the 19th century. The owners have restored 11 rooms so far. We stayed in room 111 which had stained glass above the windows with a beautiful tiled floor and period furniture and Indian style lighting. We felt special staying in this room and could really imagine the luxury of this haveli in its heyday.The bed was vast with a large bathroom with bath and shower. The room has tea making facilities and a fridge.DJ who’s family own the hotel offers a free tour of the building to explain the history. Take him up on the offer. It was fascinating and he is charming and very helpful with advice as to where to go and what to see in Jaipur.They even have their Great great grandparents 1933 Ford Cabriolet gathering dust in the garage. Just so evocative of a bygone era.Breakfast in the courtyard was delicious with continental and Indian options. Freshly made coffee on offer too!Supper on the roof with views over the hills and forts with the stars twinkling above. Magical. The aubergine masala is to die for and the layered paratha fresh and tasty! The staff are excellent and friendly.Especially Dhan Singh who was always there to help’ seemingly 24 hours a day.The location is excellent. We walked back from the City Palace in 25 minutes but it is an easy tuktuk or uber ride.This is a very individual heritage hotel that offers the discerning traveller a real insight into the long history of Jaipur’s havelis. The family have taken great pride in preserving the building for generations to come.Go and stay there. You won’t be disappointed!

They even have their great-great-grandparents' 1933 Ford Cabriolet gathering dust in the garage, which really evokes a bygone era. Das Hotel ist ein altes Haveli mit sehr großen Zimmern und einem außergewöhnlichen Bad. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders gefallen hat mir die Dachterrasse, von der aus man den Sonnenauf- und -untergang beobachten kann. Dort habe ich auch meinen Willkommens-Tee genossen. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Ich habe sowohl das Abendessen bestellt als auch das Frühstück eingenommen, beides war sehr gut, das Abendessen sogar ausgezeichnet. Ich habe nichts auszusetzen. Zur Lage kann ich nicht viel sagen, da ich abgeholt wurde, aber ich bin nach Sonnenuntergang etwas durch die Straßen gelaufen und habe mich sicher gefühlt. Der Manager war ebenfalls sehr nett. Ich kann das Hotel klar empfehlen!
