We booked the basic room category with breakfast through Agoda where it clearly said “STREET VIEW” . Upon reaching the property we had a conversation with Pooja at the reception desk who allotted us room *** . When I went to the room it was horrible, had broken flooring, dirty linen and to my surprise “WALL VIEW”. I took pictures and have attached them also . When we repeatedly said that we had booked a street view room , she told my 70yr old father, we don’t have a street view room in this category and either you pay up the room upgradation charge or cancel the booking with “no refund” nd look for another property. I come from the hotel industry myself and the first thing we are told is to be courteous to our guests. When someone is repeatedly requesting you to fulfil the bare promise itself, you don’t ask them to leave. That’s just not done. Also another great fact about this property, the staff members are not allowed to reveal the room type , only the receptionist is allowed to tell . After looking at 4-5 filthy rooms, we stayed in 204, which was a street view room and we paid upgradation fees for it. The reception staff was very rude and unprofessional, you can let go off the other issues, including stinking corridors but not this. Apart from location , this hotel is NOT WORTH IT
I really liked staying at this hotel! The meals were tasty and fulfilling. The employees were very supportive and caring. I would suggest it!
