My partner and I stayed for six months in the apartments at Lakeside and were treated very well. We appreciated having access to the tennis courts, as well as the gym and pool at the Westin, just a short walk uphill. Our one-bedroom apartment had a fully equipped kitchen, including an oven which was very useful, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed a beautiful garden view and miss our big tree and the birds dearly. Special thanks to our first cleaning team, Durgesh and Poonam, who we got to know personally and had great fun with. The second cleaning team also did a great job. Over the six months, some issues arose, like noise from construction and other guests, but the excellent director Durba always resolved these quickly and is a real asset to the hotel. Areas for improvement include better training for security and staff on handling unruly guests, as this was a significant stress, especially after midnight when we had to repeatedly ask for help. Also, some young staff at the pool were often lazy and inattentive, spending time on their phones instead of their duties; they could learn from Rajendra, an older, cheerful gentleman who mostly worked at the Westin pool. The breakfast could be more varied, especially for long-term guests, and it was disappointing that lunch and dinner options like french fries and veggie burgers were frozen rather than freshly made, which was also the case at the Westin café. However, the Nawab Saheb restaurant was excellent, with a talented chef who even took time to greet us. We miss many of the staff there. A memorable moment was when we left the hotel and were given delicious cake, gifts, and farewells from staff holding a 'We will miss you' sign, making us feel like royalty—a beautiful memory. On a separate note, we also miss the street dogs near the hotel entrance and ask future guests to show them kindness, as they have hard lives but are friendly and grateful for food. It would be good if hotel security were trained to be more compassionate toward these animals, as we saw a guard pick up a stone to throw at them, which was upsetting. Overall, I rate the hotel 5 stars because most of the staff are wonderful, and we truly miss the place. Thank you for everything ❤️

I had a fantastic time here with my parents! Ms. Harsimran Kaur and her team went out of their way to upgrade us to a 2-bedroom apartment so my elderly parents could stay comfortably. The staff is very friendly and always welcomes you with a smile — the service is excellent. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection, all freshly prepared. We also enjoyed dinner at their restaurant, which was a refreshing change from the usual greasy hotel meals — it tasted homemade and fresh. The rooms are cozy with comfortable bedding, and the kitchen is well equipped with essential amenities and cookware. I highly recommend this place — we will definitely return!

We went there for our marriage anniversary. It was monsoon season and the location & view did not disappoint. Special mention to the staff from every department. Hospitable & empathetic. Rooms were excellent, breakfast spread is huge. Do not miss.
