Meluha The Fern Mumbai, Powai, Series by Marriott

Found facilities exceptional and nothing to complain about.The electrical switches are digital type and for common people hard to use unlike normal switches in other hotels.

I lived in Meluha the Fern for a month and had a great time. The rooms were great as well as services like breakfast, housekeeping, gym and pool.In particular, Nikhil of the housekeeping staff, Zodini, Ahmad, Touseef and Ankit of the restaurant, Prasad of the gym staff and Santosh at the gate entrance duty made me feel at home and provided excellent service.Overall, I had a great time and enjoyed my stay here

I stayed at Meluha the Fern Powai for 2 nights. The Fern group of hotels have recently been integrated into the Marriott group of hotels, and while it is a pretty decent hotel in a wonderful location, there is yet a lot to do for it to earn a Marriott tag.First, the pros - It is located in the heart of Powai, with all facilities nearby within walking distance. The hotel architecture is pretty good, and the service was wonderful.However, there are some cons, and they are important.They did not recognise my Marriott Gold status at all, no one mentioned it, I did not get any benefits associated with it, and it seems like a way off before their staff is trained to understand loyalty programs in general.Second, the rooms smell musty, and mine smelled of cigarette smoke, even though I asked for a non-smoking room. I feel the smoke from the air vents are interconnected which made my stay a bit unpleasant.Third, they have absolutely no sense of time and privacy! I checked in at 3 and hit the bed at 4pm hoping for some rest only to be woken up at 4:30pm by housekeeping asking if room cleaning was required. Then at 5 again someone called and asked if they could appraise me of their banquet facilities. I had shown absolutely no interest in it prior so I have no idea why they thought it would be something I would be interested in.Then again on a Sunday morning, I was woken up at 8:30 by housekeeping asking if I wanted my room to be cleaned.They seem to have no idea when and when not to disturb guests. It feels like they have a lot to learn to operate as a "Marriott" property for now.

had a very pleasant stay at this hotel.Nikhil, who takes care of room cleaning, is very polite, punctual, and professional. The room was always neat, clean, and well maintained.Also, the breakfast staff (ZODINI ma’am) was very kind, helpful, and welcoming. The breakfast was tasty, hygienic, and served on time.Overall, the staff is excellent and I would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.

Lovely hotel in a good location.Thank you to reception staff - Sunita, Ritik and Tejal for our room upgrade and lovely gestures for our special anniversary. Appreciated this very much.The service at breakfast needs reviewing and I have informed the reception staff and completed a feedback form to this effect. The staff do not even smile, service is sooo slow. Omg you need to improve the making if your massla chai as it was awful.This is a 5 star hotel however your service at breakfast needs vastly improving as this is no way 5 star.The porters were very helpful. We are returning again and hope to see a vast improvement at breakfast.
