The Arcadia Coimbatore Airport

I spent two days here with my family. The rooms were roomy and fit our needs well. The hotel is conveniently situated close to the airport, highway, and many popular dining options. Ms. Pooja assisted us with every request, making our stay much more pleasant. She was friendly and very supportive during our entire visit.

The hotel is located very near the airport. The rooms are clean and well-kept. The rooftop atmosphere was excellent and the food tasted great. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I strongly recommend this place.

The rooms were tidy and clean. The receptionists were very helpful in guiding us about local packages. Breakfast was delicious.

Room service needs improvement, but the room itself is spacious and clean.

Our stay at Arcadia was very disappointing. Apart from being close to the airport, almost everything else was unsatisfactory. The hotel's location on Google was wrong; it showed the hotel opposite the medical college, so we went there only to find it wasn't there. After asking around, we learned we had to go back past KMCH. When we told reception, the person in charge responded poorly, initially defending the wrong location instead of admitting the mistake. Only after we explained and showed proof did he say he'd look into it. It's surprising that management was unaware or hadn't fixed this important error. For first-time visitors, wrong directions cause big inconvenience and wasted time. The room cleanliness was worse. It seemed not properly cleaned; pillows and sheets looked just rearranged, not changed. Most shockingly, the bed had a visible period blood stain that was not cleaned, which is unacceptable and raises serious hygiene concerns. After complaining, we were moved to another floor, but no staff was there to handle issues, only a security guard who took complaints and relayed info about the room change. The intercom phone didn't work, so we had to go to reception for every need or complaint. The corridor smelled bad, likely from dirty floor mats outside rooms. A housekeeping trolley with used linen and toiletries stayed outside the room most of the day, adding to the bad smell and unhygienic environment. The food quality was poor; pongal was very plain with mostly cooked rice, dosa and idli were disappointing, and vada was too oily. Breakfast was below expectations. Reception provided lemon water but only with used glasses; even after asking for a clean glass, none was given. Eventually, the lemon water container was taken back to the pantry with staff saying it was not good to serve. Most disappointing was management's lack of proper response and ownership despite many complaints. Overall, the experience was very poor with serious issues in cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance, food quality, and customer service. The location near the airport is convenient but doesn't make up for bad housekeeping and management. Cleanliness was very poor and management extremely disappointing. Significant improvements are needed before I could recommend this hotel. The room price is too high and unjustified for the accommodation and service quality. The cost is similar to or higher than a 5-star hotel, but the service, cleanliness, maintenance, and guest experience were very poor. At this price, guests expect professional service, excellent hygiene, and well-maintained rooms, but what we got was far from that. Extremely poor value for money and very disappointing service.
