Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. We booked 15 days ahead, and the staff accepted without requesting any advance or mentioning that one was needed. Now, just a day before arrival, they suddenly want an advance and insist on full payment before check-in. When we asked about this, the staff responded rudely, saying, “This is our policy.” If this is their policy, it should have been made clear at booking, not last minute. Changing payment terms right before arrival and being rude is unacceptable. Very poor service. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

I had a very disappointing catering experience at this resort during my friend's reception today. Both the food and service did not meet expectations. The biriyani was overly oily and bland, and the overall quality of the food was subpar. The service was also lacking; some staff seemed inexperienced and didn't even know how to properly place the plantain leaf. It was also unsettling to see the same oily hands handling and serving water bottles. Considering the high prices charged by the resort, the food quality, hygiene, and service should be much better. Customers paying premium rates deserve professional service and a pleasant dining experience. Overall, it was a terrible experience with very poor service, and I expected much more from a resort of this caliber.

Very disappointing stayWe booked this property through Agoda specifically because the room was advertised as a garden-view room, and the photos made the stay look very promising. Since this was only a short stay of around 11 hours, we paid 3,000 for the room. The price itself wasn’t the issue—we were willing to pay it for the experience that was advertised.Unfortunately, the room we were given was nothing like what was shown or expected. There was no garden view at all. Our window faced the backside of the property, with machinery/utility structures and essentially no view. When we spoke to the hotel management, we were told that they had not received any information from Agoda about a garden-view room. However, instead of trying to resolve the mismatch, they simply told us that the other available rooms also didn’t have a view and that the remaining rooms were booked.What was disappointing was the complete lack of effort to rectify the situation. We weren’t expecting anything unreasonable, but some alternative, room change, or even reasonable compensation would have shown that they cared about the booking experience. Nothing was offered.The hygiene was an even bigger concern. The bedsheets had visible brown stains, which we only noticed after pulling them out from where they had been tucked in. The mattress and bedding also looked extremely poorly maintained and were not something we felt comfortable using. I’ve attached photos because this is something guests should be able to judge for themselves.Overall, the experience was nowhere close to what was advertised. Misleading room expectations, poor cleanliness, and no meaningful attempt from management to resolve the issue made the stay very disappointing.For the amount paid, we expected basic cleanliness and the room category we actually booked. Unfortunately, we got neither. I would strongly recommend confirming the exact room/view directly with the property before booking.
