Really enjoyed it

My stay at Hotel Sandoz Pribson was one of the worst experiences I've had. Although the rooms were okay, everything else was very disappointing. The cleanliness of the room was poor, and housekeeping was below acceptable standards. The biggest problem was the staff's attitude—they were rude, unprofessional, and often spoke negatively in Punjabi, assuming non-Punjabi guests wouldn't understand. Using a local language to disrespect or mock guests is totally unacceptable and shows a lack of professionalism. Instead of addressing complaints, management seemed to side with the staff rather than the guests. Customer service was almost non-existent, and room service after check-in was awful. It honestly felt worse than many budget guest houses near railway stations. I strongly advise travelers, especially those from outside Punjab, to reconsider booking here. Good rooms alone don't make up for disrespectful staff, poor cleanliness, and terrible hospitality. There are many better hotels where guests are treated with dignity and respect. If you care about your self-respect and don't want to pay to be treated badly, avoid this hotel. Other hotels in the area offer good rooms with professional staff and excellent service. Unfortunately, my experience here was very different. Before booking, the staff were very polite and welcoming, but after payment, their attitude changed completely—they became rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I also felt pressured to pay extra charges that were not disclosed at booking. When I questioned these fees, I was threatened with police involvement if I didn't comply, which made the experience stressful and intimidating. Hospitality should make guests feel welcome and respected, but that was missing here. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a peaceful and trustworthy stay.

Our stay at Sandoz Pribson in Amritsar was very pleasant. The hotel is centrally located, with spacious and well-decorated rooms. The breakfast buffet was quite good. The staff was very helpful and went above and beyond to assist us. Special thanks to MD sir, who ensured our stay was comfortable and memorable. From smooth booking to making sure all necessary amenities were in the room, providing sightseeing recommendations and timings, and arranging everything needed, he took care of it all. He even helped us get train tickets for our journey. MD sir also assisted us with the Golden Temple darshan, arranging a pickup around 2:45 am and facilitating the entire divine experience. We highly recommend this hotel.

I want to caution other travelers against staying at Sandoz Pribson. My stay was a complete nightmare, especially traveling with my 2-year-old. The hotel lacks basic hospitality and honesty. We asked for room cleaning at 8:00 AM, but by 12:30 PM, after a tiring day, it still wasn't done. When I asked the front desk, they were dismissive and said they prioritize checkout rooms over current guests. They also lost my room key and initially denied having it. The service here is very poor and seems dishonest. Beware of misleading ads: they claim free pickup/drop to the Golden Temple on MakeMyTrip but deny it on arrival. They charge for items marked as complimentary, like ₹100 for 100ml milk for my toddler. The kitchen supposedly opens at 7:00 AM but won't serve before 8:00 AM. They advertised tea with cookies but only served tea and rudely said cookies weren't included. After waiting 4.5 hours, the cleaning was terrible—no fresh sheets, towels, or toiletries. This service is unacceptable, especially in a city like Amritsar. Save your money and peace of mind by choosing another hotel.
