Tuliip Residency

My stay at Tuliip Hotel during a 2-day business trip to Mumbai with my family was extremely disappointing. I booked the rooms online via the Cleartrip app, which showed a lower price, but the worst part was the receptionist Shaabir's behavior. At checkout, he acted very unprofessionally, shouting at us in front of others, which was very uncomfortable. He demanded nearly double the payment by adding unnecessary charges. Initially, he said the food was complimentary, but later charged ₹350 per person, and the food quality was poor and overpriced. The rooms were cramped and uncomfortable. Overall, the stay was a waste of money and spoiled our trip. Shaabir's rude conduct was the main cause of our bad experience. A hotel receptionist should treat guests respectfully, not shout at them publicly. I strongly suggest people reconsider before booking here. I would not recommend Tuliip Hotel even for a single night, as there are many better hotels nearby with superior service, more comfortable rooms, and professional staff. Very disappointing experience.

Had a wonderful time at Tulip Residency! The staff were friendly and the service top-notch. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. Stayed for 4 nights and 5 days with a great offer. Strongly recommend. Thanks to the team!

I stayed at Tullip PG from May 4th to July 2nd, and overall, my experience was very disappointing. I paid ₹16,000 per month and a ₹32,000 deposit for two months. Although I gave notice to leave on July 17th, I vacated early on July 2nd. The manager assured me I would get a refund for the unused 13 days, but when returning my deposit, they suddenly claimed a three-month lock-in period and only gave me ₹15,250 after deducting ₹750 for housekeeping. Additionally, they charged ₹8,000 as brokerage and ₹5,000 for documentation fees. The PG was quite dirty, housekeeping was inconsistent, and cockroaches were often seen. Food, housekeeping, and electricity were extra costs, and there was no Wi-Fi available. The staff was unhelpful and acted as if we had no other choice but to stay there. My interactions with the owner, Sudarshan Agarwal, were unpleasant; he mentioned his connections with MLAs during discussions, which felt intimidating and unprofessional. I strongly advise others to be cautious and get all terms about deposits, lock-in periods, and refunds in writing to avoid losing money unexpectedly. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this PG.
