The rates for this hotel differ significantly between online bookings and walk-in visits. Despite having paid the full amount online in advance, I was charged an additional 3,500 upon arrival. Furthermore, the service provided was abysmal; I stayed for two days, yet the room was not cleaned even once. They also sell bottled water at a price higher than its actual retail value. All in all, the hotel management charges exorbitant rates while failing to provide adequate service.

Hello Everyone,First of all would like to say I had the worst experience with Strand hotelI booked my hotel room via Make my trip and there was a date glitch through MMT so I told the strand hotel desk to change the date and give me the same room which was selected they said to talk to MMT team and do itI contacted MMT team they were cooperative but strand hotel staff didn't agreed to cancel booking they told the higher management said it won't get changed from their end despite MMT team cooperating in the issueThey told me to write a letter in written about the issue and to mention request for change of date but higher management didn't approved so I had to book another room on the day I wanted and paid the price once againMy money got wasted just bcoz the management didn't agreed to change the date despite MMT team requesting them to do soI won't recommend any family members or in general the people I know to ever visit such hotelNo point of going Strand there are much better hotels other than strand who cooperatives all the wayI would recomend everyone not to visit strand hotel every in life save your money or else you will face losses like me thank you!Strand hotel you lost a client and many future potential clients which I would have referred in future

Hello Everyone, I want to share that I had a terrible experience with Strand hotel. I booked a room through Make My Trip, but there was a date glitch on their side. I asked the Strand hotel front desk to change the date and keep the same room, but they told me to contact the MMT team. The MMT team was helpful, but the Strand hotel staff refused to cancel or change the booking, saying their higher management would not allow it even though MMT was cooperating. They asked me to write a letter requesting the date change, but the higher management still did not approve it. As a result, I had to book another room for the date I wanted and pay again. I lost money because the management would not agree to change the date despite MMT's efforts. I would not recommend this hotel to my family or anyone I know. There are many better hotels that are more cooperative. I advise everyone to avoid Strand hotel to save your money or you might face losses like I did. Strand hotel lost me as a client and many potential future clients I could have referred.
