My stay at Strand Hotel was very disappointing, especially considering how important customer service is in today's competitive hospitality market. The condition of the room and the attitude of the reception and parking staff felt very unprofessional. The staff clearly require better training in communication, politeness, and guest respect. The room smelled strongly of fungus or mustiness, which made it uncomfortable. The parking area was also poorly maintained, with parts flooded by sewage water, making it unpleasant and difficult to navigate. Overall, the hotel seemed to lack proper attention to guest experience, cleanliness, upkeep, and professional standards. In such a competitive industry, just having a hotel is not enough; guests expect cleanliness, courtesy, good facilities, and respectful service. One positive was seeing elderly people employed there, which I appreciated and respected. However, based on my experience, the hotel needs significant improvements in room upkeep, staff behavior, cleanliness, parking management, and customer service. I hope management views this feedback constructively and works to improve for future visitors.
