Stayed for a single night. Solo traveller. It was comfortable. Accessories were available. Better than expected. No windows. Comfortable for 1-2 people only. Location is 10/10.
I have stayed at a few hotels in the surrounding area, and their prices were considerably lower than the rate I paid here and the service received. I decided to book this hotel for two nights initially, mainly to get an idea of the hotel, the staff, the rooms, and the surrounding area before deciding whether to stay longer.On my first day, I arrived early and appreciated that they kept my luggage for me till my check in time. After a long flight, I asked if I could use a washroom to freshen up a little. Unfortunately, the washroom I was directed to was not clean and there was no toilet paper available.Considering the price I paid, I expected a much better level of service. The receptionist did not appear very welcoming, and there was no smile or warm greeting. Even the breakfast was disappointing and did not feel like a proper hotel breakfast. Coffee was served in a paper cup, which was not what I expected for the price.I also found that most of the rooms are quite small. My room did not had a proper mirror, and had no window at all. I requested a larger room, but I was given different prices by different receptionists. One receptionist quoted around *** per night, while the receptionist on the following shift quoted *** per night for what appeared to be the same room. This lack of consistency was confusing.Overall, for the price charged, I expected better service, cleanliness, room facilities, breakfast, and hospitality. There are several hotels in the surrounding area offering lower rates, so I feel the hotel needs to improve the overall guest experience to justify its pricing.
They have only one room type called super deluxe, which is acceptable. The other rooms are quite small and lack ventilation. It doesn't feel like a hotel, more like a lodge. The staff are very helpful. The shared washroom is kept very clean. The receptionist seems serious and doesn't smile. The location is excellent, close to the Gateway of India.
