Winners Hill Resort Walayar by Arcadia

Its a nice location to stay as a couple. But, there is frequent power cut issues. When the power cut happens, Then wifi also not available there. Because, there is no network there. And also.. Near 10 kms, There is no shops. If there any emergency, We can't go.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at Winners Hill Resort, Coimbatore. As this resort is located inside a reserve forest area, guests have very limited options for food outside the property. The nearest shop or restaurant is approximately 7.5 km away, making the hotel’s food service a critical part of the guest experience. We placed our dinner order at 8:30 PM after a long day of business travel, having been awake and working since 4:00 AM. Despite multiple follow-ups over the next two hours, the food was still not prepared by 10:30 PM.What made the situation worse was the complete lack of accountability from the staff. At no point did anyone provide an honest update on the delay, inform us that the kitchen was unable to prepare the order, or offer a realistic delivery time. We were simply kept waiting with repeated assurances and no action.By 10:30 PM, after waiting for two hours without receiving any food, we had no choice but to leave the resort and drive 7.5 km through a forested area late at night just to find something to eat. This situation was entirely avoidable had the staff communicated transparently and professionally.Even more disappointing was the absence of a simple apology. The staff showed no concern for the inconvenience caused and made no effort to recover from the service failure. For a resort situated in such a remote location, this level of negligence towards basic guest needs is unacceptable. This was not merely a delay in service; it was a complete failure of hospitality, communication, and guest care.

1. Privacy is a big concern. Rooms are having gaps in doors and windows through which people from out can see through. People in near by rooms will hear you clearly.2. You will get either hot water or cold water but not both to make it to the temperature you want. Hot water will be very hot and no cold water will be available to reduce its heat. If it is cold water in pipes, no hot water will be available. 3. Mosquitos are of greater trouble. You will lose your sleep due to this. If you are travelling with babies/kids, it will be worse.4. Room Service is worst. You will not get whatever you ask for on time. They will test your patience. Water will not be provided to you but you have to fetch it from a tap out side the building. We didn't get the mosquito repellent or coil on the first day stay.4. Food Cost - it is a nightmare. An omlet(double egg) is Rs.120 and an omlet with single egg is Rs.90. Almost all items are costly than you expect. Overall it is a kind of farm house and doesn't give a Resort feel.
