Yello Stays ITP

Think carefully before joining Yello Living PG. My experience after moving in has been quite different from what was promised during the sales presentation. I specifically asked about the guest policy beforehand and was told guests could visit until around midnight, with no mention of needing to hand over a physical Aadhaar card. After moving in, the rules became much stricter: guests must now give their physical Aadhaar to security, which is held until they leave, and visitor timings are tighter. This makes visiting friends inconvenient, especially for those who come to Bengaluru alone for work and want to have friends or colleagues over. Despite paying high rent and a security deposit, the restrictions feel more like a college hostel. The terrace is locked around 10 PM, which is inconvenient for residents returning late who want to relax outside. Enforcement of rules seems inconsistent; long-term residents with good relations to staff get more flexibility, while new residents face strict enforcement. Water quality is a concern, with bathroom water showing high TDS levels and repeated complaints about pests, including rats near kitchen areas. Security staff have sometimes been rude or aggressive, which is disappointing for a place marketed as premium co-living. The location is also problematic, situated on a narrow, poorly maintained road with potholes, making it difficult for autos and cabs to enter, especially during rain. Many residents have raised these issues, but management often seems uninterested in addressing them, possibly because they have enough people waiting for rooms. My advice: don't rely solely on the sales pitch. Before paying your deposit, get written confirmation about guest timings, ID requirements, terrace access, water quality, pest control, security, and all restrictions. For the rent and deposit charged, I expected transparency, reasonable freedom, clear communication, and basic respect. "Premium PG" sounds good during sales, but talk to current residents before deciding. And to Team Yello: you may have enough demand now, but don't assume it will last if the resident experience keeps declining.

Positive experience with welcoming staff

The room was compact. The entire property is quite nice. The cafeteria and outdoor spaces are excellent. However, the road leading to the property is in poor condition.

I had a fantastic time at Yellow Living and want to sincerely thank the team for making my stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Special thanks to Sales Executive Rita, who stands out as one of the finest sales professionals I've met. I also appreciate Prithvi, the receptionist, who is a great asset to Yellow Living; she handled all my concerns smoothly, efficiently, and with a positive attitude. Finally, I want to commend the Housekeeping Supervisor (whose name I unfortunately don't know). She is an exceptional leader who works hard to keep the property clean, organized, and well-maintained, and her dedication is evident in the excellent performance of the housekeeping team. She truly deserves praise for upholding such high standards. Thank you, Yellow Living, for such a wonderful living experience.
