Don’t recommend this property.Firstly, there is no restaurant at the property. Café Sarwaa, which is mentioned in the listing, has been permanently closed for a few months. The only option for food is to order online, which is quite inconvenient.More importantly, we had a terrible experience due to the constant noise throughout our two-day stay. We came here expecting a peaceful and relaxing vacation, but the noise completely ruined the experience for us. There was continuous disturbance, including loud noise from grass cutting and other activities around the property.We raised our concerns with the staff but they still didn’t do anything to stop the noise. and, after a lot of discussion, they eventually moved us to another room that had slightly better noise insulation and was somewhat farther away from the grass-cutting area. Overall, if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway/workation I would not recommend this property.
Had a terrible experience with Beach House by Palmyra booked through Agoda. First of all, the photos shown in Agoda were totally different from what we saw there. Even the representative who interacted with me after booking also shared different photos. I am not sure of the other rooms from this property but the Heritage rooms are totally disgusting and haunted. We had to share videos as evidence of the complaint regarding the property we booked in Varkala.The actual accommodation provided to us is completely different from what was shown and promised at the time of booking. The room provided was located approximately 100–200 metres away from the main property compound, in an isolated area. Instead of the room/accommodation shown in the booking photos, we had been given a room that is essentially like a hut in an isolated and uncomfortable location.The condition of the room is extremely poor and unacceptable:* The entire room is dirty and unhygienic.* The floor is muddy and not properly maintained.* The bed sheet provided is dirty.* The lights kept switching on and off, making the room even more uncomfortable and unsafe.* The isolated location of the room makes the entire experience feel scary and unsafe, especially at night.* The actual condition and location of the accommodation are completely inconsistent with the photos and description shown on Agoda.We were on our honeymoon, and this was supposed to be a special and memorable experience. Unfortunately, instead of a pleasant stay, we were given an extremely disappointing and distressing experience.
Stayed for 2nights in a heritage. Room . The location was great, it was a calm and quiet place get relaxed. Unfortunately the bathroom door need maintenance was hard to open
