I had an appalling experience with this hotel after booking through Agoda on the night of September 6, 2026.I booked 2 Classic Double/Twin Rooms for my family (4 adults, including 2 senior citizens, and 2 children aged 12 and 6) for an overnight stay from September 6th to 7th, paying the full amount of *** online. Due to an Agoda platform glitch—which customer support later verified—the booking confirmed 2 rooms but listed occupancy for only 2 adults.Because we were traveling late at night, we arrived for check-in around 2:00 AM on September 7th. Instead of understanding or basic hospitality, the person claiming to be the hotel manager treated us with outright hostility. He refused to listen to our explanation, would not acknowledge the platform glitch, and flatly refused to share the owner’s contact information.Despite knowing our party included tired senior citizens and young children who only needed a bed for less than 8 hours before morning checkout, he saw an opportunity to exploit our situation. He demanded an additional *** cash on the spot (on an original base booking of around *** for both rooms). Agoda customer support attempted to call the hotel multiple times to resolve the issue directly and followed up via email, but the manager deliberately ignored their calls and messages.Stuck on the road at 2:00 AM with vulnerable family members, we had no realistic choice but to pay his demanded extortion fee just to get rooms to sleep in.This behavior was greedy, unprofessional, and completely inhumane. Taking advantage of stranded families in the middle of the night is unacceptable.
