Hotel The Class, Delhi Airport

Avoid staying at this hotel. It's like paying to be robbed. In January 2025, my friends and I booked two rooms for two days. While we were out during the day, all our money and gold jewelry were stolen from our locked rooms. The staff's response was terrible’they refused to take responsibility, did not offer any support, and even accused us of lying. The hotel's security cameras were poorly positioned, with their views obstructed by unnecessary doors in the corridors, making it impossible to identify who entered our rooms. Although the Delhi police assisted us, they couldn’t gather any evidence due to the camera setup. We suffered a significant loss.

’I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. Upon checking in, the reception asked me to pay extra money because I am a foreigner, which I found discriminatory and unfair. When I refused to pay, they tried to prevent me from leaving the premises. Thankfully, I was able to leave the hotel, but I strongly advise other travelers to be cautious. This kind of behavior is not acceptable, and I would not recommend staying here.’

Rooms are good, service is also good, but our money got stolen when we were not available in our room on 25th Jan 2025, even though our rooms were locked and we had keys.Area is very bad, please avoid this hotel for family bookings.

If this is where Air India is putting you after making you miss your flight, refuse it! Ask them for another hotel at the help desk counter and they will change it.We were given rooms at 4 am after they made us miss the connection to Chicago. I got room 101, entered and it smelled like cigarette smoke. On complaining, the staff had the audacity to say it wasn't smoke but cleaning smell ’’ that they closed the room right after so it smelled like that. I had to pull out my asthma inhaler and they still didn't do anything. Probably one of the staff or a guest in the adjacent room was smoking even though hotel is non smoking.My friend changed his room with me so I was able to sleep at night. Right outside my room, the whole of next afternoon they were doing repairs (pics attached). There goes my sleep.The hotel restaurant is a kilometre down the road. Their lunch was good (rice and dal/lentil soup) but same thing in dinner gave me a stomach ache.Room amenities: Open Taj Mahal tea bags ’’ like just open (see pic). Full of dust. Where's the outer wrapper guys? Bed sheets look like they haven't been washed in ages. I had to put my own blanket down. I didn't wanna touch them. Side table had a big coat of dust permanently stuck (see pics again). At least there was AC.Bathroom: Tartarus has better amenities. Flush was dirty. Shower was overhead. Hot water was barely coming. Tap pressure was at the lowest setting. Had a bath using the bucket which was also dirty.Also had my friend lose his earphones from his room. This was a hovel. Not recommended at all. No way this is 3 stars. I've stayed in Best Western in Vrindavan that was 3 stars. This was one step above an Oyo room.

Great hotel, awesome service, very nice room.
