Western Park Hotel is an exceptional venue for hosting a wide range of family events. Over the years, we have celebrated numerous memorable occasions here, including birthday parties, a puberty ceremony, and even my cousin's wedding reception.Every event was executed with remarkable professionalism. The staff members are courteous, welcoming, and highly attentive. The banquet halls are well maintained, offering a clean, elegant, and pleasant ambiance for any celebration.A special mention goes to Mr. Shiva, whose dedication and customer-centric approach truly set him apart. He was exceptionally approachable, supportive, and proactive in resolving every concern without hesitation, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free.The quality of the buffet was outstanding. The dishes were flavorful, with the mutton biryani being particularly exceptional and undoubtedly one of the highlights of the menu.Additionally, the parking facilities were efficiently organized and well-managed, contributing to the overall convenience of the event. We are thoroughly impressed with the hospitality and services provided by the hotel.Our appreciation and sincere thanks to *Mr. Shiva* and the entire Western Park Hotel team for consistently delivering such outstanding experiences.

We organized our company's employees meeting in this hotel. It is value for money. Very near to the railway station. Close to Periyar bus stand. Ample car parking. Budget is reasonable.

Absolutely pathetic experience.We had booked two rooms for five people via Agoda, but due to a technical issue it showed booking for only two. Instead of handling it with basic common sense or hospitality, the hotel staff outright refused to accommodate’even when two rooms were already booked. They shamelessly demanded ’5000 extra just for three additional people.For a hotel that is barely average, charging around ’10,000 for one night (two rooms), this behavior is nothing short of cheating. They try to extract money at every possible step and have zero regard for guests.Even Agoda support was disappointing and couldn’t resolve anything.Would not recommend this place to anyone. Completely unprofessional and money-minded.Absolutely pathetic experience.

Rooms for stay is ok type. We had booked one hall for a meeting but the chair covers were almost 90 percent dirty. They don't wash the covers but re-use it without washing them most of the time. Plus they will give priority for those who pay more rather than keeping the quality.So, for emergency you can choose this place because of availability of three halls but you can't expect quality as you expect. There are other places you can go for if you want better quality.

Would have given at least a 4 rating if it wasn’t for a few things. The hotel has all the potential to be an excellent place of stay in Madurai. Very well located. Not too far from the city Center and at the same time not in a congested area. Easy entry and exit. Ample parking. The restaurant is nice. The buffet breakfast was nice. The mutton thali was very average though and a must avoid. Rest all food was nice. The bar was also nice. Now why the 3 rating?1. Reception: never quite understood why hotels having spent so much money on the property would not keep good people at the reception. Morose. Not even a smile. And completely impractical. I had lost my key card and agreed to pay the rs. 300 for that. The lady at the reception insisted that I pay only cash which I did not have with me. She even asked me to out and draw from an atm and pay. I had to put my foot down.2. The bathrooms need to be refurbished. The plumbing changed.3. House keeping did not even turn up offering to clean the room. That’s really strange.
