Stayed at iStay Hotel, opposite Coimbatore Railway Station, for 2 nights from 10–12 May 2026.Location is very convenient, especially for railway travelers, as the hotel is right opposite the station (exit from platform number 1). There are plenty of eateries nearby, and both public and private transport are easily available from the hotel.The room was small, but the overall stay was comfortable. Complimentary 1-liter mineral water is provided daily. One thing to note is that there was no refrigerator in the room.The restaurant is located on the ground floor. The complimentary breakfast was good with decent options. I also tried dinner at the restaurant once, but the food was average/just okay.An important point for travelers: if you book through Agoda or any other booking platform, the check-in/check-out timing is 12 PM to 12 PM. However, if you book directly with the hotel, they allow a 24-hour checkout from the time of check-in, which is quite useful (rate when you book direct with hotel- Rs. 3600/night with breakfast for a deluxe room).The manager and hotel staff were helpful and cooperative throughout the stay.Overall, a good and convenient stay for short visits to Coimbatore.

Excellently located. Quite a clean place, including rooms, toilet, restaurant. Provides a no nonsense basically South Indian breakfast (either pre booked or on payment at site) with boiled eggs, bread, butter and jam included as options. Friendly reception and staff. Will surely stay again if required.
