KKM International Hotel Thiruvananthapuram

The stay was good. Food price was reasonable. The room was clean. One concern was the bedspread and bedsheet you need to completely remove it and replace new ones. Because our overall stay was really good. But this one reason should not make your rating come down.

The room was comfortable, but there were a few areas that need improvement. The ceiling fan regulator was missing, making it difficult to adjust the fan speed. There were no hand towels provided, and the bath towels were of poor quality and should be upgraded. On the positive side, the bar has a great ambiance with a nice vibe. The service staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service, making the overall experience more enjoyable.

I would strongly advise everyone to stay away from this hotel. It was one of the worst hotel experiences we've had. They initially confirmed that all 9 rooms would be ready by 6:00 AM, for which they charged us an additional amount. Despite paying extra and receiving confirmation, only 6 rooms were provided, and that too after repeated arguments. To make matters worse, they charged us more than the rates available on MakeMyTrip. The problems didn't stop there:* Bathroom doors in several rooms had no locks.* Some rooms had no towels, and others had no foot mats.* We had to change 2’3 rooms because they were infested with cockroaches.* The drinking water bottles provided were of very poor quality.* Bed sheets were old, worn out, and looked unhygienic.* Bathroom fittings were poorly maintained and several were not functioning properly. The breakfast spread looked decent, but the food quality was disappointing. Breakfast only started at 7:45 AM, which is far too late for a hotel catering to travelers. Even the toaster wasn't working. The final straw was their attitude. After nearly 30 people had finished breakfast, a child accidentally dropped a cup and broke it. Instead of showing basic courtesy or understanding, the hotel imposed an absurdly high penalty for an accidental breakage. This is only a brief summary of the issues we faced. Poor maintenance, false promises, overcharging, and extremely unprofessional customer service made this a thoroughly disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

A special mention first for Mercy from the service team at Gravity Bar...she was genuinely the highlight of my stay at KKM International. Warm, attentive, professional and effortlessly hospitable, she made every visit to the bar feel welcoming. Guests visiting Gravity Bar should absolutely ask for Mercy, her service adds a personal touch that is increasingly rare.I stayed in the suite room, which was comfortable, spacious and well maintained. The food was good too, and the overall dining experience was enjoyable. The one area that could be improved is the reception service, which felt a little less polished and responsive compared to the rest of the hotel experience.Overall, it was a pleasant stay, made especially memorable by the hospitality at Gravity Bar and Mercy’s excellent service.

The food was absolutely delicious! The Hot and Sour Chicken Soup was the highlight of the meal’rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The appam and vegetable stew were equally tasty, with authentic flavors. The chicken biryani was outstanding, and the chicken was incredibly juicy and full of flavor. The service was excellent, and all the staff were pleasant, courteous, and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. A special mention to Chef Sooraj, who was warm, jovial, and very approachable. His friendly and welcoming attitude added a personal touch to our visit.Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I would highly recommend this place. Looking forward to visiting again!
