Hotel ReviewAccording to the ratings, this hotel is classified as “Very Good – 3 Stars.” However, my experience was completely different.Honestly, this hotel does not deserve even one star. The hotel was extremely dirty, the bedding had a horrible musty smell, the bathroom was filthy and full of insects, and the walls were badly affected by dampness and mold.These are not minor issues. Cleanliness and hygiene are basic requirements for any hotel, regardless of its star rating.The attached photos clearly show the actual condition of the room, bathroom, and walls. I strongly recommend that travelers look carefully at recent guest reviews and photos before booking.My experience was extremely disappointing. This hotel is nowhere near a 3-star standard. My rating: -3 Stars.

I accidentally booked a room for the wrong date and contacted the hotel to see if the reservation date could be changed. I was not even requesting a refund,only asking whether there was any flexibility to modify the booking.Unfortunately, the staff member who answered the call was extremely unprofessional. Instead of trying to assist or explain the policy politely, he called me "careless," told me it was my problem, and raised his voice during the conversation. Regardless of the hotel's policy, customers should be treated with respect and courtesy.The experience left a very negative impression. Hospitality is not just about providing rooms; it's also about how guests are treated. Based on this interaction, I believe the hotel needs to invest more effort in training and hiring staff who can communicate professionally and respectfully with customers.

Booked the room through an online platform and checked in at Octave Hotel recently. Unfortunately, the room condition was not satisfactory and appeared unclean and poorly maintained. Due to this, I had to check out immediately after check-in itself.I spoke with the reception team regarding the issue and was informed that refund options are limited for online bookings. I particularly appreciated the storage options, which included a sideboard and a wardrobe equipped with a secure safe.Practical Amenities: A standout feature was the shower cubicle, which effectively kept the rest of the bathroom dry’a small but significant detail that elevated the daily routine.Exceptional Value: For a centrally located hotel, the pricing was very reasonable. You truly get premium utility without the inflated price tag.Service & Hospitality:The staff were consistently courteous and professional, ensuring our needs were met with a smile. Their hospitality significantly contributed to our overall satisfaction.Verdict: If you are looking for a well-maintained, spacious, and centrally located stay that won't break the bank, I definitely recommend Hotel Octave. We left feeling very satisfied with our choice.

My experience with Octave Hotel Double Road has been horrible.I had a room booked for 24th October, 1 PM, which I cancelled on 23rd October at 12 PM’a full 24 hours before check-in. According to their own policy, I was clearly eligible for a refund.I personally contacted the manager, and he assured me multiple times that my refund would be processed. He even took my bank details, which made me believe the hotel was handling things responsibly. Unfortunately, it has now been more than a month, and I have still not received a single update or refund.What’s worse is the complete lack of response and accountability from the hotel. No follow-up, no explanation, nothing. This is not the level of professionalism or honesty I expect from any hotel.I am deeply disappointed with the way this was handled, and I would strongly advise others to reconsider before booking here.
