I had a very disappointing experience at Olive Richmond Circle.I was a solo traveller from Mumbai and had pre-booked my stay in advance via Agoda.. clearly selecting and paying for a specific room. However, when I arrived at around 11:45 PM I was told that the room I had paid for was not available. With no real option at that hour, I was forced to accept a tiny, box-like room for the night.Trying to be understanding, I agreed to adjust for 24 hours — but things only got worse. During the night, I discovered bed bugs in the room. At around 2 AM, I had to rush to reception and request another room.Surprisingly, the next room they gave me was exactly the one I had originally booked which raises the question..why wasn’t it given to me in the first place?Unfortunately, the issues didn’t end there. In that room, I found something extremely disturbing 30–50 dead honeybees stuffed behind a cupboard…clearly showing a complete lack of cleaning and hygiene.At that point, I requested a refund and wanted to leave, but the hotel refused to refund me. Instead, I was shifted yet again to another room.Even after finally getting a decent room, the service remained poor:No basic amenities like water, bucket, etc were provided unless I called repeatedly (10+ times)WiFi was unstable / AC was not working constantly disconnecting Staff seemed untrained and unhelpfulOverall, this was a very, very bad experience..The property does not live up to its photos or ratings.The only positive is the location. Everything else was extremely disappointing.I would strongly advise others to not rely on the online ratings and be cautious before booking.
