Vivanta Bengaluru, Residency Road

Had a good experience at Vivanta for our office meeting. The hall was well arranged and perfect for a professional gathering. The open garden dining area was a really nice touch and created a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were very supportive and provided good customer service throughout. Overall, a very good place for corporate meetings and team gatherings.

Wonderful property on a great location. Its kn the brigade road, if you wanna go partying in the evening there are multiple bars/pubs right next door. With in the property the rooms are spacious and nice, just the washrooms can be little bigger. The staff were really helpful and quick on anything n everything.Breakfast buffet has a nice spread, however being a vegetarian i felt non veg spread was larger then the veg items. Food was really amazing. Had a wonderful staycation.

It was a wonderful stay in Vivanta residency road. Stalf was really courteous and helpful . Rooms were clean . Food was tasty and healthy . Morning breakfast was a good healthy spread and I would like to mention name of Mr. Sandeep who was taking really good care of each and every table's need . He was soft spoken and doing his job really well .

I usually stay at the Vivanta Whitefield location but wanted something with a bit more activity around it - tried Residency. Unfortunately, so far off the mark and I definitely couldn’t recommend this as a 5 star hotel.Let’s do the positives. Very lovely lobby and aesthetic when you enter the building. Clean. Visually appealing. Staff very friendly and helpful on arrival which is needed when you travel for 18 hours and arrive at 6am.Location is also great. 5 minute walk to MG Road Metro. MG Road itself is just around the corner. I didn’t eat here much, but when I did, it was lovely and the one evening meal I had, the waiter was incredibly friendly and helpful.But that’s where it ends. The room was definitely not on par with Whitefield location. Unsure of the different room types as this was booked by my company - but I had no desk to work from (all of my Whitefield stays have always had a desk/working area). The TV didn’t work during my full stay - just an error on screen and a connection warning to the IPtv system. I will concede that I didn’t let reception know so maybe they could have fixed it but to be honest, in a five star hotel it should be checked. Mini fridge/bar had no cooling ability whatsoever so all stock was warm/hot.I had breakfast one morning and an evening meal one evening. Good was good but service mostly invisible. Upon arriving at the eating area - there’s a station which I presume is for someone to take your room number/seat you but there was never anyone there. Resulting in me walking around wondering whether to just sit down or wait. Two other nights, with no one there, I just left.Also, on checkout, I left at 03:45 am. Staff were in my floor cleaning rooms, checking things etc at 03:30 AM - banging around and doing housework at 3 in the morning. My pre booked car to the airport was also not here - Could have gotten an Uber to the door in 4 minutes for 940 INR but paid 3900 instead for a hotel car that wasn’t here and essentially made my whole airport experience a rush. It turned up eventually a few minutes after it was booked for - but then again no urgency. Sitting talking to the security while I just wanted to get to the airport.Overall, an aesthetically pleasing hotel on the surface but unfortunately one with no real urgency or sense of offering the service charged for. Which is a real shame.

Very well placed close to all typical spots around MG Road. Secluded enough to not get disturbed by loud music at night. Great hospitality from all the staff and good in room dining services. Good option for short work stays.
