It’s a good option if you’re looking for a budget hotel under ’3000, especially considering its convenient location near Ajmer Road. The service is quite good, and the staff is helpful and cooperative.However, the property is a bit old, which reflects in some areas. For example, ACs in a few rooms may not work properly, and overall maintenance and cleaning could be better. That said, the staff makes an effort to address issues and ensure a comfortable stay.Overall, a decent budget stay if you’re okay with minor compromises in quality.

I stayed at this property from 20th Feb 2026 to 23rd Feb 2026 for an official assignment, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.On the night of 21st Feb around 11:30 PM, I was disturbed by the staff claiming that I had ordered an ice bucket/basket. Shortly after, at around 11:45 PM, I received another call repeating the same claim. I clearly informed them that I had not placed any such order.At the time of checkout on 23rd Feb, I submitted a written complaint at the reception regarding this unnecessary disturbance. However, the issue did not end there. Today, I received a concerning call at my office stating that I had ordered the item and had not paid for it, which is completely incorrect.This reflects very poor coordination and unprofessional behavior from the staff. Such false claims and repeated disturbances are unacceptable, especially during an official stay.I expect the management to investigate this matter thoroughly, resolve the issue immediately, and ensure that such incidents do not happen to other guests.Very disappointing experience.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights. The room size was quite good and comfortable, which made the stay pleasant overall. However, the entry layout felt a bit awkward and could be improved for better convenience.The food quality was average’decent but not particularly memorable. One downside is that the hotel does not have a health club or fitness facilities, which may be a drawback for some travelers.Overall, it was an okay stay, with spacious rooms being the main highlight, but there is definitely room for improvement in a few areas such as food and amenities

Review ’ Sarovar Portico, JaipurOur stay at Sarovar Portico Jaipur was quite disappointing and far below the standards we have experienced at other Sarovar Portico properties.The rooms are not very spacious, which could still be acceptable, but the overall service experience made the stay unpleasant. The staff did not appear very welcoming, and it seemed that many junior staff members were contractual. In fact, three different staff members I spoke with mentioned they usually work at other hotels and were unable to provide basic information or assistance.The hotel lobby also looked poorly maintained. The carpet appeared quite aged and had several visible stains and spills, which immediately gave a poor impression regarding hygiene and upkeep.The most concerning part of our stay was the rooftop swimming pool. The experience there was frankly pathetic. The pool timing is mentioned as 7 AM to 7 PM, but when we went there around 8 AM, the pool was not even ready. We had to repeatedly call staff to come and clean it, and even after that the filtration system was not switched on. The pool itself is quite small, but the bigger issue is the lack of proper maintenance and safety measures.There were serious safety concerns around the pool area. Electrical switches and plugs were present very close to the pool and were not waterproof, which is extremely dangerous. There were no shower or changing room facilities near the pool, which is basic infrastructure expected at any hotel with a swimming pool. Additionally, the area around the pool lacked proper non-slip flooring or safety mats. The stairs from the pool area were slippery, and unfortunately my child slipped while using them.Overall, this property does not appear to be managed to the standard expected from the Sarovar Portico brand. Having stayed at other Sarovar Portico hotels before, this one was not even close in terms of safety, hygiene, and service quality.One positive aspect of our stay was the food. The food served at the restaurant was delicious, and the restaurant staff were courteous and attentive, which was a pleasant contrast to the overall service experience at the hotel.
