Sarovar Portico Outer Ring Road Bengaluru

I had a two night booking 2-4June 2026 at Sarovar Portico for Club room at INR 11K per night (total 22K including GST). I was scheduled to reach the hotel by 7PM but my flight to Bangalore was delayed due to bad weather conditions. I made sure the hotel was informed of the delay and my late expected arrival due to this situation. There was a positive confirmation from hotel . Subsequently I reached the hotel at 1AM on 3rd June and I was informed by Mr Ritwik at front desk that the hotel did not have any room for me due to a maintenance issue and an alternate hotel was arranged for me to sleep at night. I had no option but to accept. this is where my nightmare started. A car was arranged by Sarovar staff to transport me to the alternate property. This was a low standards hotel with cigarette smelly room , non-functional Air conditioning , and non - responsive support staff. Anyhow , I did not have any option at 2.30 AM but to live through the night . By the way , in the morning I discovered that this property also had water supply issues which was another addition to my situation that I was put in by Hotel Saroval Portico . On 3rd June morning 10 AM i was transported back to Hotel Sarovar Portico after a very uncomfortable night. The Property Manager met me, apologized for the while episode and tried to compensate for my agony by offering some goodies for the subsequent stay on 3rd June. Any how I was allocated a room for night of 3rd June where i could take some much needed peaceful sleep. In all , Sarovar Portico should have shown professional courtesy of informing me in advance that they did not have a room at the hotel, rather then waiting for 13hrs from my scheduled check in time on 2nd June and putting me in a sub-standard hotel where facilities were not verified. Also I feel the hotel should have compensated me for the bad service by returning me the room charges for the night they could not provide me the Club room i paid for and putting me in a rather uncomfortable situation beyond my control. The Mudde Sangath was good, as was the Chutney, but not as amazing as their branch in Kurnool on the Bangalore-Hyderabad highway. Service staff were not paying attention and we had to wave our arms repeatedly to get their attention. All this even though there was only a total of 4 small tables occupied. The Rayalseema chicken was spicy without much flavour. Ghee to pour on the Sangathi was charged extra at INR 25 even though at Kurnool they just came to the table and poured it as soon as the Sangathi was served without any extra charge

We ordered a family-sized paneer biriyani along with chilly egg, and inquired about how many individuals could be served by the family-sized portion of the biriyani. The waiter informed us that it would not be adequate for even three people. However, upon receiving the meal, even four individuals with hearty appetites were unable to finish it. While it is acknowledged that consumption can vary based on individual appetites, the appearance and flavor of the biriyani were not particularly appealing, and the accompanying sides were insufficient. Additionally, the gravy for the biriyani was excessively oily. The chilly egg was not cooked properly, leading us to question our decision to order it. Furthermore, there is a need for improvement in the food delivery time, as it took an excessive amount of time for our order to be served.

Worst experience food quality is totally disappointed. I bought on last Friday they gave left over biryani with one piece and I complained and went and bought on this Sunday to give good one . But the chicken was not at all good they repeated same spicy biryani. Totally waste of time nd money. Once upon time it was good but now it's totally waste.

First business tour to Bangalore, name attracted me and I visited restaurant to parcel my order. Price was average and good to order it. However, when I saw salad quantity as compared to my order it was dissatisfactory. Amount I paid should have atleast 3-4 pieces of Onion. Not a single piece. Ha ha ha not sure how it may save for the restaurant.attached pic. ’?
