My recent stay at Treebo 'Shimla Ayurvedic Retreat Kufri' was quite disappointing as several promised essentials were missing.Missing Amenities: Despite being part of the booking, bottled water was not provided. Additionally, basic toiletries like a toothbrush and shaving kit were unavailable, which is very inconvenient for travelers.Cleanliness Issues: The tea kettle in the room was extremely dirty, making it unusable. For a property focused on "Ayurvedic Retreat," one would expect much higher hygiene standards.Limited Breakfast: The breakfast spread was very poor, with only two options available: Poha and Parantha with tea. This lacked the variety usually expected from a Treebo property.Overall, the property fails to deliver on its basic promises. I would not recommend staying here until they improve their service and maintenance.
No water when we entered the hotel. Asked for Kettle twice but still did not provide in my room. Kettle was provided after 3rd call after a few hours. No power backup, if theres an electricity outage, prepare to be blacked out. No water provided by default in room, had to come downstairs to get it. Will never go to a Treebo ever

Solo Traveller • Jan 2026Extremely poor experience despite being part of the Treebo group. Geyser was not working, bed was very hard, locks were damaged, and there was no heater/bonfire. Staff was rude and uncooperative. Basic amenities like a dental kit were not provided even after multiple requests, and some essentials were charged separately. Breakfast had almost no options’no fruits or milk.Not worth the money. Would not recommend.
