Solo Traveller • Sep 2026I had a very disappointing encounter with the receptionist on duty yesterday, 12 September 2026, around 11:50 AM. We had reserved a room via MakeMyTrip for about ₹600 for a 3-hour stay, but the receptionist said he would deliberately cancel that booking and pressured us to book directly with him for ₹1,000. This felt like he was trying to exploit the situation for personal profit. Additionally, his attitude was very rude and unprofessional. I urge management to look into this and take strict measures. Staff should not be permitted to cancel valid bookings or coerce guests into paying more directly. Since I was in a hurry, I canceled my MakeMyTrip booking, but now he refuses to accept my refund request. Please address this issue seriously and act against the staff member involved.
