I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel Garden Creek Residency, Andheri East, Mumbai.We checked in early in the morning around 8 AM, and the male receptionist informed us that early check-in would cost ’2500. I explained to him that during my previous stay on 5th May, I had also checked in early around 9 AM and was charged only ’2000. After a long and unnecessary argument, he finally called a female receptionist who was there during my previous visit, and only then did they agree to charge ’2000.The biggest issue was not even the money, but the attitude and behavior of the receptionist. He was extremely rude, unprofessional, and did not know how to speak politely with guests. Hospitality means treating customers with respect, but sadly this hotel completely failed in that aspect.Later, I informed them in advance that my wife’s flight was scheduled at 1:45 AM, so we would check out around 10 PM. Initially, they agreed. However, in the evening, we received an official email from Airlines informing us that the flight was delayed by almost 2 hours. Because of this genuine reason, we requested a small extension and finally checked out around 12:30 AM.Shockingly, the receptionist demanded an additional ’1500 for just around 2 to 2.5 extra hours. When I asked how these charges were calculated, there was no proper explanation at all. Charging ’1500 for such a short extension is completely unreasonable and unfair. Again, instead of handling the situation professionally, the receptionist became rude and argumentative.Apart from this, the room condition was also very poor. Some furniture in the room was already damaged badly, with fungus/moisture issues visible on the furniture and interiors. The maintenance standards were far below expectations.Overall, this hotel seriously needs improvement in:1. Customer handling and hospitality2. Professional behavior of the male receptionist3. Transparency in extra charges4. Room maintenance and cleanlinessBeing close to the airport is the only advantage of this hotel. Otherwise, the customer experience was stressful and disappointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone expecting decent hospitality and fair treatment.

In summary, this hotel needs serious improvements in customer service, receptionist professionalism, clarity on extra fees, and room upkeep. Its proximity to the airport is the only positive, but the overall experience was stressful and disappointing. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone looking for good hospitality and fair treatment.
