I have booked this hostel for a specific amount and after checking in they are asking to pay 1k more saying that what I paid was just booking charges and for staying I have to pay 1k. I feel like this is scam happening in most of the hotels in Chennai where after we book a hotel room with payment they ask to pay more at the reception while checking in.
