Hotel Voxton

This was among the most disappointing hospitality experiences we've encountered. Despite having paid half of the cost upfront, the receptionist/owner responded with rudeness and a negative demeanor about the balance due instead of offering a friendly reception. A hotel's standing depends on guest treatment, and sadly, this establishment did not meet that standard. Consider carefully before making a reservation here.

Our experience was very disappointing. The problem wasn't the payment policy itself but the receptionist/owner's rude and unprofessional attitude at check-in. Even though we had already paid half of the booking cost, we were treated as if we were untrustworthy. Good hospitality means respect and clear communication, and sadly this hotel lacked both. We're sharing this review to assist other travelers in making a well-informed choice before booking.

If you intend to stay here, expect a disappointing check-in process. Even after paying half upfront, the receptionist or owner addressed us rudely and insisted on the rest of the payment in a disrespectful way. We've been to many hotels, but this was among the most unprofessional encounters. A hotel should make guests feel at ease, not uneasy. We wish the management would understand how to treat guests with simple politeness. Not advised.

Everything is subpar , your getting what you paid for . The standard rooms are very small ( thats why they have not mentioned the room size in the details for standard rooms ) The only good thing is Bathroom is clean

Mixed feelings about the stay: service was good, but the Standard room felt quite cramped. If you just need a budget place to sleep while exploring the city, the Standard Room works fine. However, for a more relaxing and comfortable stay after a busy day, it's better to spend a bit more on a higher room category. Highlights include friendly and helpful hospitality from Mr. Ismail at the front desk, basic amenities like effective air conditioning and 24-hour hot water, and complimentary breakfast included in the price. Downsides were the very small room size with little space around the queen bed, a persistent stale cigarette odor despite cleanliness, housekeeping issues like an expired TV subscription and an unflushed toilet upon arrival, and average food quality that was further impacted by heavy rain. Parking is limited to an open area outside the hotel with about five spots, depending on availability. I would stay here again but only for a short visit and would opt for a better room category for more comfort.
