It's a beautiful palace but the food is not good and since its located in a very secluded area with limited food options nearby it feels like you are trapped here having average food

The palace is stunning, but the food quality is poor. Being situated in a remote location with few dining choices around makes it feel like you're stuck here with mediocre meals.

Lovely resort offering excellent service and tasty food. Breakfast options for gluten-free diets are somewhat limited.

Samode bagh is easily one of the most outstanding and unique hotels, instead of rooms in a building there are camps in an open space, we stayed in the cottages which are just mini concrete houses but with a camp roof. Food is amazing and they have a wide variety, there are a bunch of activities to do like play cricket, table tennis, play board games (ludo, snakes and ladders, carrots, and chess), snooker, or just relax and go to their Mughal gardens. The mughal gardens are huge and take like half of the property's space. They even have animals (mainly birds), and I found a civet (like a racoon), a Rose-ringed parakeet (green parrot), squirrels, and jungle babbles (birds). The suites have a whole other area on the right side of the property. Peak season is around October. There are cycles too, from which I learnt how to cycle in 2 days. They even have their own pool which is big, and a gym which is smaller and mainly have weights. Instead of the treadmill if you want a real exercise I would recommend to just jog around the property. Overall very good hotel and very friendly staff. Recommended

Samode Bagh stands out as a truly exceptional and distinctive hotel. Rather than traditional rooms inside a building, guests stay in camps set in open spaces. We stayed in cottages, which are small concrete houses topped with camp-style roofs. The food is excellent with a broad selection available. There are many activities to enjoy, such as cricket, table tennis, board games like ludo, snakes and ladders, carrom, and chess, snooker, or simply relaxing and exploring their expansive Mughal gardens. These gardens cover about half of the property. The hotel also hosts various animals, mostly birds; I spotted a civet (similar to a raccoon), a rose-ringed parakeet, squirrels, and jungle babblers. The suites are located in a separate section on the right side of the property. The peak season is around October. They offer bicycles, and I learned to ride one in just two days. There is also a large swimming pool and a smaller gym mainly equipped with weights. Instead of using the treadmill, I suggest jogging around the property for a more authentic workout. Overall, it is a very good hotel with friendly staff. Highly recommended.
