Seclude Shimla Taraview

We had a wonderful 6 night stay at Seclude Shimla. The property is a lovely little heritage property with 6 rooms, all of which are beautiful. We stayed in the Super Moon on the first floor which had lovely large bay windows facing a wonderful view as well as a small private balcony. The rooms were clean, beautifully done up in the heritage style and all the amenities one would need including electric blankets and a heater (we went in March when it was still cold at night).The caretaker, Anit does a wonderful job of taking care of the guests along with his team (Ravi, Shamsher and Ajay). He remembers guest preferences and is very responsive to any requests. They were also able to arrange a taxi for us for local sightseeing at the last minute.We ate a lot of our meals there and the food prepared by Chef Ravi was delicious and just like food made at home.Would definitely recommend staying there.

I had a really pleasant stay at this property. The place itself is absolutely beautiful, with a serene and calming atmosphere that makes it perfect for unwinding. It’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet conveniently close to the main city centres, which made getting around very easy.The food was excellent’fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The hospitality truly stood out; the staff was warm, attentive, and always ready to help, making the experience even more comfortable.A special mention to the caretaker, Anit, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect during my stay. His kindness and dedication made a real difference.

Stayed at Taraview by Seclude and had such a relaxing experience. Waking up to those panoramic mountain views was the highlight. The staff is super polite, the food feels homely, and the ambience is peaceful and private, exactly what a getaway should feel like. Highly recommend for couples, friends, or anyone wanting a quiet break.

Not a safe experience. Despite the 9.7 rating, our experience was extremely distressing. The property is very secluded, dimly lit and we were the only guests there, which made us feel unsafe because on the day of check-in itself while having dinner, ordered from this place only both of us experienced sudden dizziness and disorientation, and we had to call the police to leave the same night. This did not feel like a secure place.

I celebrated my birthday at this 160-year-old villa, and it turned out to be the best decision ever! Tucked away from the chaos of the city and surrounded by nature, this place is the perfect escape from skyscrapers and noise. The peaceful atmosphere, breathtaking views, and charming decor made every moment feel magical.The staff was incredibly warm and helpful, and the food’especially the candlelight dinner on my birthday’was absolutely amazing. Every corner of the villa is picture-perfect, making it a dream for anyone who loves aesthetic vibes and nature’s beauty.It was a truly memorable birthday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better setting. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a serene getaway that feels like a scene from a storybook!
