Couple • Jun 2026Stayed at this property expecting the standards associated with the ITC brand, but the experience was disappointing. Despite requesting and reconfirming a twin-bed room, we were initially told none was available due to the hotel being sold out. The room was arranged only after repeated insistence.The restaurant staff appeared inexperienced and not attentive to guest requirements. The property also lacks a swimming pool, and the approach road is narrow and in poor condition.Overall, the experience did not match the expectations set by the ITC name.
We Recently stayed at Welcomhotel by ITC Shimla and had a really nice experience overall.The first thing that stood out was the hospitality. A special mention to Mr. Ankit Manocha, the General Manager, who was very helpful during our stay. He upgraded our room, which was a pleasant surprise, and also helped arrange a driver during our early morning checkout since the approach road to the hotel is a bit steep.Shubham at the reception was also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in and all our requests were handled smoothly.The room was spacious, clean, and had a large balcony with beautiful views of the hills. It was a great place to sit and relax, especially in the mornings and evenings.We also spent some time enjoying the activities available at the property. The darts, archery, and shooting activities were a lot of fun and kept us entertained during our stay.We ordered in-room dining a couple of times and the food was excellent. The service was quick and everything arrived well prepared.Overall, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The combination of good service, beautiful views, fun activities, and attentive staff made the trip memorable. Would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Shimla.
