Couple • India • Oct 2026I had a pleasant one-day stay at this hotel. The staff was courteous, and the buffet breakfast was excellent. Overall, the service and facilities were good. However, the location was a upside, as there is no mountain view, only some greenery from the window. Mall Road is accessible, but the steep uphill walk back can be challenging, especially with children. The hotel drops guests about 600 metres from Lakkar Bazaar. Overall, a good stay, but the location could be improved.

LOCATION: It's an 2.50 km (15 minutes) uphill drive on a narrow road from Navbahar Chowk near St. Bede's College. The last 500 mtr from Reliant Mart shop to this property is very steep & only experienced drivers can manage. SUV/MUV cars adds to problem; small cars are better on sharp turns on this 500 mtr patch.Also, currently the road from Parking to Hotel Reception is damaged due to heavy rains so guests have to walk 70-80 mtr upwards on a slope which may be tedious for children/senior citizens.ROOM: Premium Room had a comfortable sit out with lovely valley view and was overall neat & clean. But room was bit short on space. It's definitely not 300 sq. mtr as claimed on hotel's website. Families with children may find it congested.WASHROOM: Clean & spacious with necessary toiletriesSTAFF: Excellent, very polite & cooperative. Akhil at front office, Pankaj & Vaishali at restaurant were exceptional in their service & ensured full guest comfort.FOOD: Due to low occupancy in off season buffet was not served in breakfast & lunch. The à la carte had sufficient options and Chef Vimal prepared delicious food.Note: Complimentary accommodation for the driver with all meals was a big advantage & kind of a must considering the secluded location.Overall nice & well maintained new property (started in summers of 2026) with courteous staff & delicious food but location & room size has to be kept in mind before booking.

I enjoyed a fantastic stay at jüSTa DarkWood Lodge & Spa. The location is stunning, tranquil, and nestled in nature, ideal for relaxation. The rooms were cozy, spotless, and tastefully decorated. The meals were tasty, and the staff was courteous, supportive, and friendly. The front office staff member Vaishali was especially helpful. I truly appreciated the warm welcome and serene environment. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I would certainly suggest this place for a peaceful retreat.
