I faced an issue with my Agoda booking. I included children up to 17 years old, but in the final confirmation, the children were not added, nor counted as adults. I paid in advance for a nice room, but when I arrived, the receipt showed Agoda hadn't included the children. The hotel owner demanded an extra 500-1000 in cash to keep the same room. I refused, and they gave me a very poor room instead. The drinking water smelled bad. When I asked for a change, the room service said they refill it daily, and when I asked them to fill our bottle, they told me to bring the bottle to them. It was a terrible experience, and I will never stay at this hotel again.
