I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities provided. The staff was polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile, which made the experience even better.The location is convenient and easily accessible, making travel around the area very comfortable. The food was good, and overall the atmosphere of the hotel felt welcoming and relaxing

Just 1 word for this property.AmazingI stayed in this hotel for 2 days and their was not even a single thing that I didnt liked.The location is on the main road,View from the room was excellent,all the facilities were great.The breakfast also had a lot of varities and the taste of the food was also good.Will definately suggest everyone coming to shimla to choose this hotel as their stay.

Worst hospitality(Non Human and robotic) experience in ShimlaI myself is a travel agent handling MICE for corporates and educational institutions PAN India and Abroad.I am from Delhi and came to Shimla planning this tour much in advance.I had an advance confirmed booking at this hotel. Due to sudden heavy snowfall, Shimla was completely choked with traffic. It took me almost 9 hours to reach Shimla and check in late evening.After such an exhausting drive, I had no energy left to walk 800+ meters uphill to Mall Road, so I decided to explore it the next morning.At checkout (11:00 AM), I politely requested the hotel staff to allow me to park my car in the hotel parking for just 2’3 hours so I could quickly visit Mall Road with my wife.I clearly explained:* I was already stuck for 9 hours the previous day* Traffic situation in Shimla was extremely bad* Once the car goes out, parking would be impossible anywhere* I had to leave for Chandigarh by 1:30 PM* I was even ready to leave my car keys with the staff* Despite the official check-in time being 2:00 PM, the staff bluntly refused, saying:’New guests will arrive by 12 PM, we can’t allow you.’Seriously? One car, for just two hours, after an advance booking and extreme weather conditions?Because of this refusal, the real nightmare began:1) Got stuck again in massive trafficHad to cross the entire Shimla city end to end2) No parking available anywhere3) Police didn’t allow U-turns4) Forced to move 7 km unnecessarily and then return in the same jam5) Ultimately stuck till 3:30 PM6) Could not explore anything at allI paid ’8,500+ just to:Stay a few hoursSit in trafficReturn frustrated and exhaustedNo Mall Road. No experience. Nothing.When I called the hotel to express how badly this affected my trip, I clearly said:’I was already stuck for 9 hours yesterday. I told you I’ll get stuck again if I take the car out. I came to Shimla expecting at least some courtesy.’The staff replied:’You don’t have a booking for today.’’What should we tell new guests if we allow you to park’?’I can’t say why you came to Shimla.’So basically, you’re a guest only till checkout time. No humanity after that.This is not hospitality. This is rigid policy with zero empathy.I did not ask for luxury ’ I asked for basic understanding during extreme conditions.Think twice before booking if you expect support when things go wrong.Being a travel agent will surely be sharing this amongst my community, if such things happened with me, what could have happened with our guests who trusts us and visit there.

I have stayed previously also in this property..polite staff, parking and nice restaurant.Today also I had a booking but due to severe snow, police didn’t allow us to go to shimla and we were forced to retreat.We contacted Ms Sonali at reception regarding our booking and travel status, she assured us refund and promptly replied to MMT Whom I had made booking.My refund is being processed and thank to cedar grand and Ms Sonali. Will visit soon in coming month and will stay at cedar grand only.

One of the most memorable hotel experiences of my life. Rooms were super clean and had all the facilities and amenities one need. View was nice. Room service can be improved and the hotel is very near to the road so one can expect a little noise which can disturb your peaceful sleep if and only if you are a very light sleeper.
