Hotel Sangeet

Slightly old rooms but totally good. Neat washroom too. Hot water availability is the key in such a cold place and was always available. Great location, right on one end of Mall Road. The only con is no lift and hence might not be an ideal for old people.

Worst experience ever. We checked in hotel sangeet shimla on 2nd dec ,hotel staffs (two boy) demanded extra for carrying languages, when my husband said that pls tell our tour organizer for this they replied, we dont care,you have to pay right now,let see who carries yours languages when you check out. Their restaurant area is very vrey small . They served dinner for 1 time ,when we asked abuot 2nd bowl of chicken they said it will take another 20 minutes. But after 10 minutes wait they gave us another preparation of chiken which was not chiken gravey.The test was very bad,fish smell was coming from it.Anthor problem is there is no windows outside .We faced problems when we get outside for monkeys.Very very bad place.

During the last week of November, I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Shimla with my family, and we decided to stay at this hotel which is conveniently located right on Mall Road. Choosing this hotel turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip because the location itself is extremely attractive, especially for travellers who want easy access to sightseeing places, local markets, and the vibrant atmosphere of Shimla’s centre. Since the hotel is situated directly on Mall Road, everything was just a short walk away, which made our stay even more enjoyable and comfortable.We had booked the family suite room located on the top floor, and I must say, the view from there was truly stunning. From the suite window, we could see almost the entire Shimla city, filled with mountains, lights, and a beautiful natural setting. Sitting inside the room and looking outside felt like watching a live picture. Especially during the evening, the city lights looked magical, and we spent a lot of time simply enjoying this view. This is something I will always remember about this trip.The suite itself was extremely neat, clean, and spacious. I have stayed in many hotels before, but this room felt very well maintained and designed, especially for families. The bedding, interiors, bathroom, and overall cleanliness really impressed us a lot. The room looked fresh, hygienic and very well arranged. Whoever handled housekeeping surely did an amazing job, because we genuinely did not have a single complaint about the cleanliness of the room during our stay.Another thing that made our experience truly memorable was the hospitality. The hotel staff and the manager were extremely humble, polite, and supportive in every possible way. They always spoke with respect, guided us properly whenever needed, and ensured that we felt comfortable during the entire stay. Many hotels have good rooms but lack warmth from the staff. However, here it was the opposite’both the hotel environment and the staff behaviour were excellent. We could clearly feel that they genuinely care about guests and want everyone to enjoy their stay.One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is that you can simply walk around the most popular area of Shimla without depending on any vehicle. Mall Road has endless options like caf??s, shopping areas, restaurants, viewpoints, and places that are perfect for families. Every evening we just walked outside the hotel and enjoyed the weather, street ambience, and local market. It felt extremely convenient because everything was nearby and easily accessible.I personally enjoyed staying here a lot and I would happily recommend this place to families, friends, or anyone visiting Shimla. If someone wants a comfortable stay with a great view, walking access to Mall Road, and good hospitality, then this hotel is definitely one of the best choices. The location alone makes your trip enjoyable, and the cleanliness and behaviour of the staff makes it even more special.Overall, I truly loved this hotel and I would definitely prefer staying here again whenever I visit Shimla. For me, the combination of the peaceful atmosphere, city view, neat rooms, and friendly staff made this trip memorable. I would confidently say that this hotel is a very good option, especially for families who want a pleasant and convenient stay right at Mall Road. I came back home with wonderful memories and I am already looking forward to visiting again in the future

Horrendous, place is dingy and suffocating. Had to climb 6 levels to reach the room, there is no lift. Staff asking for money to carry bags to the cab. Room size given to us was 15feet x 15 feet with small bathroom.
