I recently stayed at Hotel Himland East for two days. The cost of ₹6,500 felt somewhat high for what was offered, but it was a decent shelter during heavy rain. Pros: The room I got had a beautiful view of the forest, which was very calming. The bathroom was clean, recently updated, and had a strong shower. The food was okay, and although there was no air conditioning, the weather was nice enough that it wasn't an issue. Cons: The bedroom floor was quite dusty when I arrived, which was disappointing. The hotel is about 20 minutes from Mall Road, so travel time should be considered. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but better housekeeping would help justify the price.

Solo Traveller • Jul 2026We were allotted one room which got filled with sewer gas after 15 min only. Room was changed but it was next to ongoing construction with windows facing the site.Thinner smell filled second room also and all started coughing and weezing. This all happened after 7 in evening when u have no other option.
Our two-day stay at the hotel was enjoyable. The room was cozy, well-kept, and had all the essential amenities we required. The bathroom was clean and sanitary, enhancing our comfort. We also liked eating at the restaurant—the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great, with lovely views that made the meal more pleasant. In general, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience. I would suggest it to others.
