Hotel Chaman Palace in Shimla was a total letdown. Hidden in an interior location that’s a hassle to reach and explore from, they charge premium rates for a so-called ’suite’ that’s nothing more than a basic, tired room. Staff couldn’t care less about guests, and there’s no breakfast service at all. Avoid unless you want overpriced mediocrity’won’t return or recommend

The car will drop you 400 mtr before reaching the hotel and you will have to walk the rest of the way with your luggage. Mall road is a 10 min walking distance but reaching here is like a 300 mtr trek. It may be a problem for the elderly, those with breathing problems, or very small children.The environment here is a bit damp but very neat and clean. The rooms could have been a little more spacious compared to the price. Still, if you have experience and physical ability to walk on hilly roads, I recommend this place near mall road for 2500/-(budget friendly)

One of nice stay in himachal very friendly staffWe had a nice stay for those parking is not available from hotel we paid 300 for night just at the road as hotel is actually at little hight they offered Coolie for 150/- (as you have to climb stairs) but we all boys had less luggage so choose to walk and climb those approx 70-100 stairs.But everything was worth as it was at 700m. From Mall road hotel provided food was fingers licking Good and they was awsomly nice ’?
