We stayed at Alasia Hotel, Kasauli from 28-30 August 2026 in a Deluxe room, charged Rs 4500 per night per room. Positives: 1) The location is great, just 250 meters from Kasauli taxi stand, Heritage market, and Christ Church. 2) The room offers a nice valley view. 3) Room service is very good and the food quality is decent. 4) The rooms are spacious. Negatives: 1) The property is quite old and not well maintained. 2) Bed linens and similar items are worn out. 3) Most electrical outlets are not working. 4) There is a TV in the room but no channels are available, possibly because the management hasn't paid for them. 5) To stop money monkeys, nets are installed on the veranda, but these nets are torn, allowing monkeys to enter.

Solo Traveller • Aug 2026Room booking online 26 to 28 June, but when we go to property hotel says room booking is 27 to 29. Very bad experience with agodha application and hotel staff .We had *** lose that time .
This hotel is dishonest; they didn't refund my money even after I cancelled the booking three days in advance, and they kept telling me the refund would be processed. Now, am I supposed to travel all the way from Delhi to get the refund, or file a complaint over ’4,500? I would advise everyone not to make upfront payments to this hotel, as they do not issue refunds upon cancellation.
