Worst hotel experience ever. Despite having a confirmed and prepaid booking, we were made to wait for over an hour in the middle of the night. The rooms were unclean and poorly maintained. We were also charged around ’2000 extra and were even asked to pay separately for basic toiletries. Highly unprofessional service. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Worst hotel experience ever.Despite having a confirmed booking and advance payment, we were left stranded in the middle of the night. For reasons that were never properly explained, the hotel kept us waiting for over an hour before giving us a room. After a long journey, this was extremely frustrating and unprofessional.The room itself was in terrible condition. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority, and the overall state of the room was far below acceptable standards. To make matters worse, we were charged approximately ’3,000 extra even though our booking had already been paid for in advance.The surprises didn’t stop there. When we requested basic toiletries, we were informed that we would have to pay extra for them as well. Charging guests separately for essential amenities is simply unacceptable.From poor customer service and hidden charges to unhygienic rooms and lack of professionalism, this hotel failed on every level. We visited this hotel as a group of three families. Unfortunately, our experience was not very satisfactory. The rooms appeared quite old, and renovation work was ongoing during our stay. Housekeeping standards were below expectations, with inadequate cleaning and a noticeable unpleasant odor in the rooms. Additionally, the rooms did not match the photos displayed online.The hotel's location is its biggest advantage, as it is conveniently situated near Sanjauli Market, making it easy to access local shops and amenities.However, the food quality was below average and lacked taste, while the pricing was comparable to that of a four-star restaurant, which did not offer good value for money.Overall, while the location is excellent, staff was co-operative and humble improvements in room maintenance, cleanliness, and food quality are needed to enhance the guest experience

Had an amazing stay at Fairmount Shimla!!Very cooperative staff and efficient room service. Our room and especially the bathroom was really clean and tidy.The food was delicious.The hotel is located in the lap of the nature with a peaceful and cozy environment around!

We had a great time at the hotel with the best room and my kid enjoyed alot. The staff was very cooperative and patient with us, as I was travelling my 1.5year old. The chef made sure my baby got his food as he liked. We shall recommend this hotel to all the new parents out there for your trips.
