Our stay at Taj Fateh Prakash Palace, Udaipur was honestly one of the best we’ve ever had.The palace itself is absolutely breathtaking. From the moment you enter, you’re in awe of its beauty. The views, the food, the hospitality, and the warmth with which every staff member greets you make the entire experience feel incredibly special. You don’t just feel like a guest you genuinely feel welcomed.One of the best perks of staying at Taj Fateh Prakash Palace is that guests receive a special access card, allowing unlimited entry into the City Palace throughout their stay. Since the palace complex is massive, it makes exploring at your own pace so convenient. They also provide complimentary golf cart pick-up and drop services within the palace premises, which adds to the royal experience and makes getting around effortless.One of the biggest highlights was exploring the City Palace and the Crystal Gallery Museum. And oh my God’ the collection completely blew my mind! I’m a total sucker for beautiful crockery, and this was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The exquisite crystal dinnerware, chandeliers, shot glasses, and countless other pieces felt like walking through a hidden treasure. Every corner of the palace is filled with intricate details that leave you staring in admiration.Since the swimming pool at Taj Fateh Prakash Palace was under maintenance during our stay, we were given access to the pool at Shiv Niwas Palace and honestly, I wasn’t complaining! The property had such a charming vintage royal vibe, surrounded by gorgeous bougainvillea. We had the entire pool to ourselves, and for a moment, it genuinely felt like we were in Santorini. It was peaceful, surreal, and incredibly beautiful.One experience I would highly recommend is their evening heritage tour. For about an hour, a guide takes you around the palace while sharing fascinating stories and the rich history of the Mewar dynasty. The tour is followed by a serene boat ride on Lake Pichola, with a short stop at Jag Mandir before returning to the hotel. The evening ends with a beautiful Ganga Aarti by the lakeside, and the atmosphere during sunset is simply magical.Fun fact: A part of the City Palace is still home to the Mewar royal family, including the family of Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, which makes the experience feel even more unique and authentic.If you’re looking for a luxurious stay that perfectly blends royal heritage, warm hospitality, breathtaking architecture, and unforgettable experiences, Taj Fateh Prakash Palace is truly a place you’ll never forget.

His warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail made our celebration extra special.The housekeeping team also deserves appreciation for their impeccable service.
