Dear Agoda Team,I would like to share my extremely disappointing experience with the hotel booked through Agoda.My booking was for two nights, from 24th Sept to 26th Sept. I reached the hotel at around 1:30 PM and completed the check-in process. However, the room initially allocated to us was a twin-bed room, which was not suitable for a couple. Moreover, the cleanliness and overall condition of the room were very poor. The mirror was broken, and the upholstery of the chairs was visibly dirty.I immediately requested a change to a room with a king-size bed. The Front Office Manager assured me that the room would be changed within 30 minutes. However, despite repeated follow ups there was no proper response until the evening. Finally at around 9:15 PM, we were allocated another room, Room No. 216.After moving our luggage and settling into the room, we discovered several additional issues:1. The AC was not functioning effectively, and the temperature control was not working properly.2. The set-top box was not recharged.3. The WC seat cover was not properly fixed.4. There was no hot water in the bathroom.5. The bed linen had visible stain marks.6. The bed was making continuous noise.7. The traffic Noice continuously disturbing whole night. We had to tolerate these issues as we had planned to leave for the temple at 4:30 AM the following morning and did not want to spend more time dealing with the hotel staff.We returned to the hotel at around 10:30 AM and had breakfast and that was ok. However, considering the overall experience and the condition of the room, we decided that we could not continue our planned two-night stay and chose to check out immediately at around 12:30 PM.I also requested to FO team to speak with the hotel's General Manager to explain the situation personally. However, They informed that the Hotel's GM is currently out of the hotel and he is not available.This was a highly disappointing experience, particularly because we selected this hotel based on its recommendation and availability through Agoda. The condition of the room, delayed response to our request, and multiple basic service and maintenance issues were far below what we expected.Considering that we were unable to complete our planned stay due to these issues, I request Agoda to please investigate this matter with the hotel and arrange an appropriate refund for the unused night, along with addressing the service failure with the property.I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.Best regards,Sanjay Saran

Clean rooms with good bedding and spacious rooms. Located in prime location within walkable distance to railway junction and periyar bus stand.

Terrible hotel with incompetent staff and management. The rooms are spacious but in complete disarray, with seepage, bad odors, and dirty linens. The staff seemed clueless about everything. They told us to park in front of Joyalukkas, the neighboring jewelry store, claiming it's the same campus, but when we checked out, they blocked our car from all sides and refused to assist. Both security and management used offensive language and demanded money to release the car. We had to call the local police to get help. Avoid this hotel at all costs. They didn't even have the courtesy to turn on the AC while we waited in the lobby; they even removed the only standing fan nearby.
